It really makes you wonder doesn't it. Not only did she decided to keep swimming, her husband left without her.

There has to be another story there! ;) He buys a ticket home and she decides to stay for the rest of the voyage to Britain.....

This whole thing sounds fishy.

But I LOVE!!!! the name of the ship she was trying to catch was Marco Polo.

While swimming she was calling 'Marco'...........................................

........................................................................................'Polo'

Saw this on another forum, it's almost hard to believe. The woman must be mad.

https://ca.news.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-buzz/woman-rescued-after-jumping-into-ocean-to-swim-for-162937325.html

That was actually posted here earlier today, down the forum..... (http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2334389)

And after all that, the husband wasn't on the ship anyway.

This sounds like something that would have happened in the episode of Keeping up Appearances when Hyacinth and Richard go on the cruise!

That was my first thought, too. But Hyacinth expected the ship to turn around to get her. I did wonder if Richard might push her in, though.
