Lizzie68 Posted March 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2016 I just finished reading this. And after all that, it turned out her husband was not onboard anyway. Guess he decided to fly home too.

C-line Posted March 28, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 28, 2016 This sounds like something that would have happened in the episode of Keeping up Appearances when Hyacinth and Richard go on the cruise!

sppunk Posted March 28, 2016 #11 Share Posted March 28, 2016 (edited) This whole thing sounds fishy. But I LOVE!!!! the name of the ship she was trying to catch was Marco Polo. Edited March 28, 2016 by sppunk
Rare 1of4 Posted March 28, 2016 #12 Share Posted March 28, 2016 It really makes you wonder doesn't it. Not only did she decided to keep swimming, her husband left without her. There has to be another story there! ;) He buys a ticket home and she decides to stay for the rest of the voyage to Britain.....

Lizzie68 Posted March 29, 2016 #22 Share Posted March 29, 2016 Dear oh dear. The husband is back home. She is still in the hospital. Obviously 4 weeks together on a small cruise ship was just too much.....
Rare 3rdGenCunarder Posted March 29, 2016 #23 Share Posted March 29, 2016 This sounds like something that would have happened in the episode of Keeping up Appearances when Hyacinth and Richard go on the cruise! That was my first thought, too. But Hyacinth expected the ship to turn around to get her. I did wonder if Richard might push her in, though.
