Kiwi_cruiser Posted July 12, 2016 Author #126 Share Posted July 12, 2016 (edited) It looks like there might have been another change in the itinerary for the Sun Princess, she is now heading to Busan, South Korea. Sun Princess was not meant to be heading there on this cruise.... SUN PRINCESS at ShipWatcher Hopefully a blogger will update their blog in the next few days, and let us know what's happing :) Edited July 12, 2016 by Kiwi_cruiser
Kiwi Kruzer Posted July 13, 2016 #127 Share Posted July 13, 2016 (edited) Jo has updated... http://gaznjopacificcircle16.blogspot.co.nz/ So to keep in front from the effects of this weather system, our stay in Hong Kong was cut back to one day. We lost our day in Shanghai and our visit to Incheon was brought forward. We are having an overnight stay in Beijing. Jeju is out and Busan is in!! After that all is back to normal. Kiwi Kruzer Posted July 14, 2016 #128 Share Posted July 14, 2016 Looks like the "Mystery Tour" continues. Just checked the bridge cam and they where at an Island. Checked AIS and they were at Jeju, supposed to be on the way to Busan......

And now "Jeju" is back in? Not a good time for private tours for passengers.

They always seem to have a great time, despite the hiccups along the way. Happy Birthday, Gary from CC. Maybe Jo needs to celebrate a half birthday, so she can have a birthday on board. I remember being impressed at Expo how vibrant and colourful the Korean's national dress was. Good recommendation for the Travel Company, in Shanghai, which promptly refunded their unused tour costs. Kiwi Kruzer Posted July 21, 2016 #144 Share Posted July 21, 2016 Not nice at all, especially if they have some wind with it as well. From the cams it looks like they have had rain all day. Does it ever stop raining in Asia? When is the best time to visit there?

When is the best time to visit there? When its not raining, which is never. But at least the rain, cools you down and washes some sweat off. Then you can glorify in the steaming humidity again until the next storm.:) Well that's bangkok region anyway. Rare MicCanberra Posted July 21, 2016 #146 Share Posted July 21, 2016 From the cams it looks like they have had rain all day.Does it ever stop raining in Asia? When is the best time to visit there? Dry season is the short answer. But as an Asian cruise generally visits both the equatorial countries and the countries further north this is what makes it tricky with the weather. GUT2407 Posted July 21, 2016 #147 Share Posted July 21, 2016 Anywhere around the equator will have the same issue.
Rare MicCanberra Posted July 21, 2016 #148 Share Posted July 21, 2016 Depending on whether it is the wet or dry season, it is supposed to be the dry now.
Vader1111 Posted July 21, 2016 #149 Share Posted July 21, 2016 Depending on whether it is the wet or dry season, it is supposed to be the dry now. Currently dry season in the southern hemisphere, wet season north of the equator.
Kiwi_cruiser Posted July 21, 2016 Author #150 Share Posted July 21, 2016 Sun Princess now has 7 days at sea, before they get to Seward, Alaska :) They got 3,315.28 nm (6,139.90 km) to go before they get to Seward. Hopefully the blogs will get updated over the next few days :) Apart from packetau blog, has anyone else found any other blog's from this cruise??
