hi, Copper. tthanks. That explains why I have not seen him mentioned in a longttime. He had a greatr c areer and I wish him a long, safe, happy erftirement.

He is enjoying a new career, he is teaching Conversational English to Business Execs and College Graduate Students and thoroughly enjoying it :)I am looking forward to seeing him and his wife in October 2017.

He is no longer with HAL. It was my understanding from a post by Bruce Muzz that he was now working on NCL.

He is still around.

Awesome guy to work with! Only HD I know that gives Spanish lessons in the Crow's Nest for those guests who are interested. His retirement is HAL's loss, no doubt

Indeed a loss. James Deering was a fine Hotel Manager and is just a great all-around human being. Enjoyed the opportunities to sail with him.

Boy, I missed this :( I was so hoping he'd be our HD on VODM this April.
