Rare Cruise Junky Posted March 24, 2017 #51 Share Posted March 24, 2017 How did you see the itineraries? They're starting to show up on a U.K. Site. Do some googling for 2019 Azamara cruises.
Rare Cruise Junky Posted March 24, 2017 #52 Share Posted March 24, 2017 Alaska....over 100 nights during the season!??? Is that area not saturated with cruise cabins already? Just saw the 10 day itinerary for Alaska. No way I'd pay Azamara prices for same ports that the big ship goes to and two days in Seattle. Sitka is the slightly different port. 30th July 2019 Vancouver, BC. ChucktownSteve Posted March 24, 2017 #53 Share Posted March 24, 2017 (edited) I talked with my TA and she sent me a Jan 2019 Panama Canal cruise itinerary. Whats in the pipe they're smoking at Azamara? This is what my TA sent, Cat. V3 - $14,919.96 for 2. I was looking forward to booking another Azamara cruise but $877 per night for a V3 and no extra perks?????? I pass. Kamlee Posted March 25, 2017 #54 Share Posted March 25, 2017 We've now found the 2019 itineraries on a couple of UK TA sites. We would like to book the Circle Japan Intensive, but not at £600 per night for an oceanview!

Rare uktog Posted March 26, 2017 #57 Share Posted March 26, 2017 For that one they can probably get away with these prices... Sent from my iPhone using Forums Yes agree. They will need to be careful how they market 2019 with these prices as they will risk losing a hardcore of loyal regulars who maybe come onboard once a year. I suspect they are the "bread and butter" of their revenue and they won't want to lose them For the Brits I suspect Brexit sterling fall has added to the prices. I think like many we have a maximum cruise budget a year and we will be making choices on how to get best from it in 2019, it certainly can't be all we want to do in the rooms we really like. But making the choices will be part of the enjoyment. After all our earliest cruises were sans balcony.
Bloodaxe Posted March 26, 2017 #58 Share Posted March 26, 2017 After 12 cruises spread over 10 years at these prices I am sorry to say it is Sayonara Azamara for us
Riocca Posted March 26, 2017 #59 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Nothing is working for us, in 2019 we decided to take a year off from long haul flights so one ship in Alaska severely limits our choices with Azamara. As regards prices we currently work on roughly £550 per night in a CC suite looking at the prices we have seen so far in 2019 we would be paying almost £1000 per night firmly in Crystal / Seabourn territory. As much as we enjoy the Azamara cruise experience we do have a limit on what we are prepared to pay, so no early booking for us this time.
Rare little britain Posted March 27, 2017 #60 Share Posted March 27, 2017 I'm hearing that this Friday, 3/24, an email to our LCV members is scheduled. I expect the 2019 day-to-day itinerary detail will be available then as well. If it isn't, well, then the 29th for sure. That is the date of the official 2019 launch. Didn't get it [emoji53] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
JVNYC Posted March 27, 2017 #61 Share Posted March 27, 2017 Azamara needs a new ship or two. Putting one ship in Alaska all summer (yawn) and the other in the Baltic is pretty boring.
