Out of curiosity, how does the Getaway hull look in person? I like it in the pictures but wonder if it comes across as faded in person.

When the BA was being built many members here posted renditions of the BA hull art and took some liberties - those were my favorite

Here's my take: I don't care. It's doesn't make the ship sail any more different that any other ship. Oh, wait, maybe Pepsi foots the painting bill that's why there's no carry on Coke.

In all seriousness, nobody really cares-- it's just a fun discussion. I seriously doubt the Hull Art would be a deal breaker for anybody.

"A lot of people are saying" there's subliminal messages hidden in the hull art encouraging guests to spend $5 more per day while onboard. FDR could be behind this diabolical scheme.

It is a good poll. I actually read a post years ago from a person that changed ships because she liked the hull art better on one ship than the other. That confused me:rolleyes:

When it comes to "hull art", Disney, Cunard and HAL all surpass NCL ships - I prefer the classic dark hull to the silly circus wagon look -- and only hope that no one I know will ever see me boarding or debarking something that absurd.

Which ever pisses off the aged traditionalist the most on the Princess board. See the threads on the new Hull Art on Princess ships. NCL will be getting all the Princess passengers that NCL is "losing" due to no coke.
