My wife who is also on that cruise said that they took a girl off and handcuffed her on the pier right under their cabin. She said that no sooner did they cart that person off that the Emergency vehicles pulled up, that must have been the medical emergency. Sounds like all kinds of excitement to get a cruise started off right.

I absolutely will. I've brought my Klymit mattress pad along with me just in case.....gotta be prepared!

Just to add my .02. I just got off FOS this morning. Had a PR right above Guest Services and loved my room. Perfect choice for going solo!!!

Brought my Klymit but it wasn't needed. I had a solid core foam mattress plus a 2" foam topper which I requested from Sp. Needs. Loved my comfy bed. No issues with noise from anywhere, easy peasy Embark and Disembark. Service was excellent throughout the ship and for the week.

Robyn, I'll be following along and would love your thoughts on any snorkeling excursions you hear about on your Eastern route. TY again for the PR recommendation!!!

No wonder the sailing was delayed.

It's been a really great day [emoji4] we finally got underway just before 8PM, and the seas are lovely and calm.

Tomorrow is a day at sea and the forecast couldn't be more perfect... Also, tomorrow is the Belly Flop contest, I'll be watching for sure!

The Meet and Mingle is tomorrow morning, as well as our slot pull in the late afternoon. At last count we had about 85 participants!

The Welcome aboard show was very good, Casey Pelter is the CD. The comedian, Rodney Johnson was one of the best I've seen! I will try to make it to the adult comedy late night show later in the week.

I spent a bit of time in the Diamond Lounge tonight, it was pretty busy but we were able to find a seat. I like the outside seating area.

That's all for today. Thanks for following along [emoji4]

Hello all. I am also onboard along with Robyn

In cabin 7660 and happy to report that we also have a egg crate topper on our bed. Mattress seeks fine. But for some reason I can't sleep

New menu was good and agree that the comedian was great.

Will be fun to met everyone tomorrow at the met and mingle

Welcome to LIVE from the Freedom of the Seas! I'm very excited to be sailing on the Freedom again as it is definitely a favorite of mine [emoji106]

This cruise will take us to Labadee, San Juan, St. Kitts and St. Maarten. I have plans for most of these ports, and will be reporting on my day at each of them complete with commentary and pictures. Our cruise also has 3 sea days and I am looking forward to relaxing by the pool and enjoying everything Freedom has to offer. I will be posting often, and uploading pictures of the ship as long as the Internet is reliable. Feel free to ask questions as I do scroll back and try to answer all of them!

I'm cruising with 3 friends this time, in fact it's our 10th annual Girls Cruise which means no DH's and no kids [emoji483]Just 4 women on the high seas (okay hopefully not too high). I'm sailing solo in a D2 balcony on deck 9, and the view should be amazing as it is a center hump.

I have just checked in to my pre-cruise hotel, the Toronto Airport Marriott, it's a full service Marriott that I have stayed in many times. I will be receiving a wake up call at 3A.M, and our flight to Fort Lauderdale is at 6A.M ✈️

I will be spending 2 nights at the Courtyard Marriott Fort Lauderdale Beach in a fantastic corner ocean view room

The weather forecast in Fort Lauderdale is calling for sunny skies and temps in the 80's.

☀️

Looking forward to sharing my cruise adventures with you!

Porn chop was awesome. I actually debated taking the bone back to my room so I could gnaw on it... lol. It was that good!!!

LOL, that is one of the funniest auto corrects I've seen in a while. I'd be a little worried if my DW said that at the dinner table. :D

Good Morning! ☀️ I'm giving my bed a 10+++ . I'm normally not the greatest sleeper, but I honestly had one of my best nights sleep ever, at sea or on land [emoji106]. I'm quite sure the mattress helped a lot. RCI needs to egg crate every single mattress, it makes such a huge difference.

As promised the weather is going to be perfect and it's only 7:30A.M!!!

I'll be spending most of the day enjoying the pool deck and the solarium [emoji41]

That's a surprise. :D And I, too, love that outside seating area. I miss it on Oasis and Allure.

When I logged in to our cruise planner the menu for Giovanni's is still showing the filet. As we all know, their website can be unpredictable so it would be nice to know! Thanks for allowing us to cruise with you. We sail 1/7/17 and can't wait to board her again. This time we are lucky enough to be in an OS mid-hump.

Oh, and by the way, you are just a few miles off of the northern coast of Cuba, moving at about 20 knots. MSC Divina was sailing with you for awhile on its way to San Juan.

You are my own, personal compass [emoji3] can you locate a bar server for me? I'm on a deck chair in the solarium [emoji6]

I will take a peek in Giovanni's before lunch, stay tuned!

You will adore the OS! I had 1320 a few years ago for a b2b [emoji106]
