sewgood Posted December 15, 2016 #26 Share Posted December 15, 2016 How disappointing for those on board. I hope there are not too many first time cruisers on the ship.

Duck Creek Posted December 15, 2016 #28 Share Posted December 15, 2016 Was on Ch 7 news right after the Ovation story. Maybe the generous compensation by P&O is to try and limit too much bad press. Especially with the new Ovation being all good news stories so far. Disappointing to be stuck at White Bay in this rainy weather

Sanjanjo Posted December 15, 2016 #30 Share Posted December 15, 2016 Well, Pacific Eden is still at White Wharf. Hasn't gone anywhere. Will have to leave by tomorrow morning as the MS Noordam is due to dock there. Nervously waiting the outcome as I am due to sail on her in 3 days. Cruise ship fan Posted December 15, 2016 #33 Share Posted December 15, 2016 There won't any issues with other ships as they will just get tugboat to move the Eden to another dock. Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk

UPNYGuy Posted December 15, 2016 #38 Share Posted December 15, 2016 I wasn't aware that the ship had all the issues but it seems like the issues continue. The common response among the crew was "well, it is the Statendam" when things would occur. Last cruise I had on her, the atrium fountain was being repaired with duct tape. And the rear 1/3 of A deck flooded. The cruise after that one, they lost power. So sadly, nothing new. Sent from my iPad using Forums

aussielil Posted December 15, 2016 Author #40 Share Posted December 15, 2016 The Pacific Eden must have left earlier this morning as the Maasdam is being moored into spot. So the passengers had two wonderful nights at White Bay ... in the rain.

NSWP Posted December 15, 2016 #46 Share Posted December 15, 2016 IMO, Ovation of the Seas is an ugly looking ship on the exterior, block of flats at sea. Looks nice inside but.
