What night are the crab legs offered on the Oasis? And what time, so they don't run out!!

I have never seen crab legs on the Oasis. Nor on any RC ship.

Someone else may have, but I have not.

Was on Oasis last month, no crab legs offered on any night. Bob was right though, Lobster tails on second formal night. Hopefully you have the same waiter we had, brought two whole plates of "tails" when he delivered dinner!!

I know people who sailed during the Christmas and New Years said they had them, but that's the only time I've heard it. Never seen them on any of our Oasis or Allure trips (4 now).

Any great crab spots local to Port Canaveral?

When Oasis was in Ft. Lauderdale, you could just hit up Rustic Inn the night before and get your fix :)

Grills seafood deck and Tiki bar, it's right by the port too

I just texted my son, who disembarked the Oasis this morning.

He said he saw crab legs in the MDR at lunch one day. (But didn't have any)

What ship please? And what constitutes "signs" of crab legs? Inquiring minds want to know.

Oasis (Dec 11&18 2016, Jan 15 2017)

By sign, bits of crab shell in the ice bowl that now contained shrimp.

In December, eating the actual crab legs.

Day, want to say Friday (Day 6). I'll have to check my notes.

I have never seen crab legs served on any mainline cruise line since my first cruise on Royal Caribbean's Song Of America in May 1983. That includes thirty plus cruises on Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Holland America, and Norweigan.

The most common two types of crab legs that I'm familiar with are Alaskan king crabs legs, (of which I've actually eaten on my two cruises to Alaska), and snow crab clusters. (I think they are legs)

Just curious. What type of crab legs did you have in December and on which ship? Thanks.

Harvey

On our two Princess cruises, there were crab legs/claws on the Seafood Extravaganza offered in the buffet on the first night. This was several years ago, so I don't know if they still do this.

We have been to Sunset Grill in Cocoa Beach a few times and they have really great seafood.

Definitely king crab legs in windjammer one night on our Oasis New Year cruise a few weeks ago. Night 4 or 5, cant be sure (ate in MDR first 3 nights, then windjammer until last night). But it was not formal night (night 6). They did run out later that night. We got there before 6 PM.

On another night, maybe formal night, had filet mignon in the windjammer. Also ran out after 8 PM.

We are going to Rustic Inn the night before our 1/29 Allure. Love that place and was my go to place when I had a remote office in Hollywood (FL).
