Craziest/strangest/funniest thing you have seen a passenger do on a cruise ship?

It's not something I witnessed in person but the funniest thing I saw was on a "Y" website video. There was a roll call before our last cruise in September 2015 and a few of us were on-line communicating and sharing the cruise related videos, mainly of pier runners and drunks. The one that I just couldn't believe was a woman in a lounger on deck who had too much to drink, so much that she just created a bathroom right there. The woman herself was disgusting but what makes the video hilarious is the narration by those video taping and others around observing. It's a minute and 16 seconds long, but there had been a longer version out two years ago (it's now been cut). In the longer version, security actually returned with other personnel and a wheel chair and removed her from the Lido Deck. I probably can't post the video here, but if interested, just look up by going to "Y**T***" and in the search, put in "Drunk woman ****** herself on a cruise". Curious as to whether she was banned or not.

You mean the one from post #20 or is there another one?

Yes, that's the one! I somehow missed that post. I think I was following along and when I looked at the thread next, I went to the last page (which was Pg. 2 at the time). I was trying to think of something crazy/funny/strange I've seen on a cruise and can't really say I have, but did remember the video. The version that's out there no is the "condensed" version. It had been longer and I remember security coming back and removing her in a wheelchair. I guess it is allowed to post the links. :) Thank you.

Last may on a cruise out of new orleans, the first night in the mdr we saw a whole table of young 20s something men dressed up as wrestlers get very loud and run through the dining room a few times. They were dressed up like 80s famous wrestlers, finally a very small secuity lady showed them who was the boss after they thought they were gonna talk over her and not listen. Rest of the cruise no issues with them. On that same cruise i saw a lady who had a very interesting looking drink so i asked her what it was, she offered me a drink of it.I told her no thanks all i needed to know was the name of it.

Last February on the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise I saw a guy crowd-surfing at the pool-deck stage ("the largest open-air structure at sea").

Now, crowd-surfing at a metal show is hardly unusual, but this guy was doing it -- with the audience's help holding him up -- in his wheelchair.

After two times the stage security guys told him "no more." I'm just glad it wasn't a powered scooter. :D

Two years ago a couple of 'enterprising' cruisers took a big red statue of a dog from its normal place on the Promenade and IT was crowd-surfed around during a show in the lounge. Royal nearly kicked the two miscreants off the cruise, but instead fined them $1,200....each.

I could probably write a book about all the crazy stuff that goes on during that cruise; if it isn't the biggest-drinking cruise in the world, I guarantee it's in the Top 3. The passengers guzzle as much beer in a day as a regular 5-day cruise consumes in total. Quasi-authorized pillow fights during shows, people belly-flopping into the hot tubs, moshing and circle-pits in the hot tubs by the pool-deck stage.... It's quite an experience. Can't wait 'til next year, but I wish it were held on a Carnival ship instead of Royal.

The Loyal Royals must have spilled their Chardonnay or Pino Grigio while choking on their melted brie on seven grain baguettes when they read about that low brow shenanigans happening on one of their beloved RCI vessels.

Cold California 3 day cruise on Princess.

Princess's version of the Serenity Deck is a for fee area where you're able to pick your lounger. Three ladies were sitting in their loungers beyond bundled up, knitting.

One time the guy in front of me at GS was giving them hell because he paid for an OV room and his window overlooks the embarkation building

1) Saw someone sprinting through the casino with a blowup doll

2) Heard a lady explaining to other passengers how "the best doctors are at sea. I always get an exam on the boat"

3) An older lady was walking down the stairs in front of me. She tripped but caught herself on the ball on top of the banister. She looked at me and said "Thank god for these balls" and then winked.

4) Marriage show - question was asked craziest place you've made whoopie. Guy responds "in the butt in the back of my car". His wife was not amused

And kale. I'm sure there's some kale involved somewhere. :D

The incoming pax on the next cruise probably realized something was afoot when they noticed that both main pools were empty when they boarded, the pool deck was closed off, and a ginormous crane was still busily offloading pieces of the outdoor stage from the pool-deck.

The ship's crew would have been worn out, but happy: the clientele on the 70K music charter is a lot less demanding than yer average RCI cruisers, but every quad and triple is full on that cruise, so the ship is VERY full. The crew really likes us, though....and our tip money. :halo:

One cruise we saw a guy dressed up like a baby for the entire 7 day cruise. He carried around and drank from baby bottles, had a pacifier, wore baby bonnets, carried a stuffed animal, the whole 9 yards.

According to his friends he had lost a bet and this was what the loser had to do.

We did see that group getting off the ship in Nassau and he was dressed normally, so at least dressing like a baby didn't extend to time in port.

Not exactly as wild as these stories, but I went on a Royal Caribbean cruise in January 2010 (7 day), then a 5 day Carnival cruise SIXTEEN months later-- saw the exact same older couple both times. I remembered them so well from the Jan 2010 cruise because they were playing the Newlywed type game and were a hoot-- had been married the longest of anyone in the room. They were adorable! Had to be in their 80s-- she wore heels everywhere and had jet black hair..... a beautiful spirit and couple. 16 months later I'm walking to my room in a hallway and I pass them by and gave a polite smile, and then I stopped dead in my tracks as I realized who they were... I turned around and asked them if I was crazy, but did they go on a Royal Caribbean cruise the year before.. I told them I remembered them from the newlywed game. They laughed breezily hand-in-hand, shrugged, and called over their shoulders, "Maybe! We cruise a LOT! Have a wonderful cruise!"

It was not strange or funny, just different. I saw a lady on elegant night with twinkle lights in her hair. she really did look very elegant and was very shiny, twinkly and glittery..but I have not seen before then, nor after, anyone with twinkle lights in their hair.

We were on our first cruise in 2008 on the Glory and it was embarkation day. It was really hot and sunny and several people were laying out in the sun on deck in their swimsuits. Two older couples in their 70's were behind us in lounge chairs and I just happened to look around and notice that both of the women had taken off their shirts and were laying there with their old lady bras on. I could tell they were not American by their accents(and their husbands speedos) and we got a good laugh out of it. I told my husband no one would believe us when we told them and about that time, Funship Freddy came up and asked my 8 year daughter if she wanted a picture with him. When we found the photo in the gallery, both old ladies were in our picture. Of course we had to buy that one!
