Be sure to check out Honolulu Cookie Company. They have a number of stores around Honolulu/Waikiki. The cookies are awesome and the stores have samples of everything.

I love Hawaii! So beautiful! Kauai is our favorite island. The Na Pali Coast, breathtaking! Leonard's Bakery and malasadas, man! Plate lunches with chicken teri and potato mac salad. You are making me hungry!! Lol!

I have a question if you can answer. Did you book direct from RC or a TA. I've been trying to figure out if these upgrades only happen if you book direct or not. Thanks.

We've been upgraded a couple of times and both were booked with a travel agent.

Congratulations on conquering Hula Pie -- a labor of love, if I may say so, lol!

 

 

 

Love your photos, and love the lamps in your hotel room. I do think it is the former Hale Makai hotel from the 70's, which was an airline crew layover hotel.

 

 

Already plotting to steal the lamps lol [emoji23]
