Gloworm2 Posted June 18, 2017 #26 Share Posted June 18, 2017 I've been on Harmony. You don't feel crowded. I was actually surprised that it still felt open. As long as you avoid those crazy $10 sales in the Promenade, you'll be fine[emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Forums

tatt2ed Posted June 22, 2017 #29 Share Posted June 22, 2017 I followed the link and saw a couple of pictures and a video posted by others. It does not look like it will have Cove balconies, does it? Wonder why Carnival is not continuing those. I have always wanted to try one. Would be nice if Royal can incorporate them into Royal ships. -l2OmOs9wtk Looks a bit like a converted container ship. tatt2ed Posted June 22, 2017 #30 Share Posted June 22, 2017 I agree. I did not enjoy the venues on the Vista. Finally someone that agrees with me. Funny how on the upper deck of the main theater you first look down at the lighting then the stage with a little neck craning. But hey do really need to see the show when the lighting is obviously what they are making the main attraction. voyager70 Posted June 22, 2017 #35 Share Posted June 22, 2017 I actually think that ship looks similar to the Quantum Class. If you straightened out the aft they would look even more alike.
TubbyMrT Posted June 22, 2017 #36 Share Posted June 22, 2017 If they got rid of the open air center such as that on the Oasis class ships, they could still have as many people but on less tonnage. However, with a name like "Carnival" I wouldn't go anywhere near it. To me, Oasis class is my destination. It is not just my transportation. bob brown Posted June 23, 2017 #42 Share Posted June 23, 2017 Saw this on MSN yesterday. How is this possible. 187 feet shorter than Oasis but holds more passengers. http://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/msc-cruises-to-design-worlds-largest-cruise-ship If you think that's tight, try riding a Barberi class Staten Island Ferry boat.....6,000 passengers....3,335 gross tons...310 feet long....:)

But then with all this talk about snub nosed bow, this ship doesn't even have a proper bow. Look at it, the entire forward section has been made into cabins!

The big bulb above the bridge is the Casino. That's how to separate the the smoke. ;) She first sailed 27 years ago. I think they are P&O Australia.
