Haven’t been to Dubbo in Yonks but the rissole was always good for a feed.

last time I was there one of Uncle Les’ mates gave me a bit of paper to say the speed I was driving at was just fine.

Never did get the 110 bucks it said I’d get for said fine driving.

We always  made Dubbo a overnight stop when driving to Qld in the past. Top tucker and ale at a really great RSL.

Massive new Rissole now in Dubbo, pool, gym the works with a 3 story car park.  They also have a new motel right opposite, handy.

I think it is time to revisit the zoo and a few other of the attractions around the region.

Swung by last year and it had changed a lot in the preceding 15 years since I was last there.  Best zoo in Oz although I still like the intimacy of Mogo zoo.

Did the Dubbo Zoo last week. Great. 35 years since we were last there.  My local zoo, Mogo Zoo is small but nice.

Sorry Les, I don't usually take photos of the meals I cook. This time I cheated a little and didn't make individual ones, but made a couple of large ones but still in the shape (almost) of a pasty with the crimp on top, which we shared with a neighbour. I use the recipe which my mother adjusted to suit our family - to entice us to eat more veggies. Mum's recipe came down from her Cornish great grandmother who came from a tin mining area of Cornwall.
