NSWP Posted October 26, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2017 Would be interesting sailing into ye olde Stonehenge. We go to all those Baltic Ports on Sapphire Princess next year ex Southampton. They must be regular Princess stops. I bet the 2019 WC is sold out in a couple of weeks.:) Many big TA's would already have 'blocked booked cabins.' Too long and too expensive for me, 49 days on Aurora: Sydney-Southampton in 2012 was enough for me. But many Aussies go on these 'Worldies' year after year. Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted October 27, 2017 #8 Share Posted October 27, 2017 Not on the Sea Princess for me.A bigger ship with an IC will do it. Sent from my SM-G610Y using Forums mobile app I agree. I'd rather go on Sun Princess as she has a couple of extra sepciality restaurants - Share (which isn't great but does offer variety to the usual MDR & buffet fare) and Kai Seafood (which has some nice dishes). Even better on a slightly larger ship like Golden, although she's going to P&O in a couple of years.
NSWP Posted October 27, 2017 #9 Share Posted October 27, 2017 (edited) One day.... maybe Start saving big time Mr GUT, 100K will be needed, cruise - shorex and beverages. And that is not the Frank Sinatra Suite either. But no red carpet or spethial treatment mate, Graham does not do Princess ships. :loudcry: I just checked Princess website re 2019 WC, not up there yet, thought it was released today? NSWP Posted October 28, 2017 #16 Share Posted October 28, 2017 I would rather do a Worldie on a larger, newer ship, than ye olde Sea Princess, been on her sisters Sun and Dawn, ok, but not designed or built for world cruising.;p We did Sydney to Southampton via Africa half WC on Arcadia in 2014. Arcadia is only slightly bigger than the Sun Class ships but to me a better vessel all round. But then I am a fan of the Vista Class ships, the Azipod propulsion comes in handy at tight ports. Do you reckon TA's have already blocked booked heaps of cabins 'under the table' with Princess before the official release date of 9 November?:loudcry:

NSWP Posted November 8, 2017 #20 Share Posted November 8, 2017 Thanks David, just had a look at Princess site re the 106 day WC Syd-Syd. Heavily booked already, big blocks of cabins gone, no doubt by the T/A's. Suites and Mini Suites all gone, the rich and famous are on board, not happy Jan, I wanted the 'Frank Sinatra Suite @ $150,000 a double. Have to wait until 2020. Happy booking to all those wanting to do the 2019 Worldie. Maybe by 2020 when I do it, when I win the Lotto, QM2 will be a Princess Straya ship doing the 'worldie., no tuxedos, OK to don shorts, t shirts and thongs in the MDR on formal nights, no G&T's, just VB and Chateau Cardboard. no worries.lol.
