Booked the Chef's Table for $68 - not huge, but enough to go from being ambivalent about booking it, to actually booking it. :D Checked the sale pricing on my cabana only to learn it's gone up ~$50 from when I booked it in July. And since I only paid ~$80 for my cruise, didn't bother to reprice that either. ;p Thanks, Casino Royale! Good job to all of you who were able to rebook for lower fares! Some of you had some incredible savings!

Originally had jr suite booked on Oasis November 2018 for me, wife & 2 kids with $100 OBC- cost was $3250 which was a great deal as far as I was concerned. Yesterday switched to two connecting ocean view balcony rooms for $3350 total plus $600 OBC ($300 each room). Used OBC to buy deluxe drink packages for wife & me as they were on sale for $43 per day, so out of pocket for both packages was just over $100! So now have 2 bathrooms & a separate private room with drink packages for 2 taken care of for roughly $200 more than original deal before drink packages. I’m happy with it!

I'm new to the onboard credit thing...did I understand your post correctly, in that you can use it prior to boarding for things like the drink package? Thanks!

That's correct, you can use OBC provided by Royal for pre-cruise purchases.

Got everyone's beverage packages and our cabana on Labadee.

$400 for a cabana...! I keep looking at my forehead to see if "SUCKER!" has appeared yet. I'm trying to rationalize that as the amount I would put towards excursions we don't take on this itinerary, and that I really did enjoy this cabana last time. But hey, $100 off the original price! *groan*

I got $200 obc for a non-refundable balcony cabin on the Anthem's 9 nite sail on Aug. 23, 2018. In addition, for Thanksgiving/black Friday period, got pre-paid grats, $100 obc. an add'l $50 obc for the loyalty program and dinner for 2 at a specialty restaurant.

For our 1/11/18 Grandeur Cruise the beach bed on coco cay dropped and so did the snorkel excursion so I snapped those up. Savings of about $50. Then I noticed that the Voom that I already purchased had also dropped so I cancelled and rebooked saving another $17. Our drinks were not any better than the $41 I already bought, so we’ll hold steady on those. I don’t expect the drinks to go down. $41pp is an amazing price IMO. I am so glad I read these boards otherwise I wouldn’t have realized cancelling and rebooking would work!
