Ncl jr suite worth the extra money?

Probably not, assuming you are talking about going to a mini suite. Main difference between that and a standard balcony is the bathroom. Look at deck plans and square footage to help make your decision.

I don't think that any suite (mini, maxi, genourmous, or any size in between) is ever worth the additional cost. In fact, I don't even think that a balcony is worth it unless it is nearly free, That said, clearly a lot of CCers disagree w me.

The Balcony is free, comes with the cabin;p.

We upgraded once from a balcony to a mini suite. The only difference was the bathroom (a tub/shower combo), and location of the cabin. We would not do it again. We don't use a bathtub on a ship, and the cabin was in a noisy area. I would rather pick my location. Also, the tub was very high and difficult to step into, but I'm sure that varies by ship.
