Ncl jr suite worth the extra money?

we are booked on ncl for a Baltic cruise, right now in balcony cabin. Is it worth the extra $ to upgrade?

Only you know your values, and can answer that question. We don't know the amount of $$ involved, length of cruise, or anything else.

Probably not, assuming you are talking about going to a mini suite. Main difference between that and a standard balcony is the bathroom. Look at deck plans and square footage to help make your decision.

I’m not a suite cruiser so not sure what a ‘jr suite’ is. But if you are meaning a ‘mini suite’ those don’t get any of the ‘suite’ benefits. Just an upgraded balcony room.

I don't think that any suite (mini, maxi, genourmous, or any size in between) is ever worth the additional cost. In fact, I don't even think that a balcony is worth it unless it is nearly free, That said, clearly a lot of CCers disagree w me.

The Balcony is free, comes with the cabin;p.

If your budge can manage this I would do it.

 

However, if it will be tight on your budget or take away from money to use for shore excursions I would stay where you are.

What ship? On the newer ships, the only difference from a balcony is a larger bathroom, on the older ones, slightly bigger cabin/balcony as well. No suite perks.

We upgraded once from a balcony to a mini suite. The only difference was the bathroom (a tub/shower combo), and location of the cabin. We would not do it again. We don't use a bathtub on a ship, and the cabin was in a noisy area. I would rather pick my location. Also, the tub was very high and difficult to step into, but I'm sure that varies by ship.

I agree, I wouldn't pay the difference for a suite from a balcony either. I would accept an upgrade though.:D
