The "New" Adventure of the Seas Pics

Recommended Posts

Which room#. There are quite a few pics and videos showing rooms 8200 and 8500 on "Voyager class" ships.

Enjoy

Thank you I will check them out. After double checking room number we are actually on deck 9 9200. So the rooms will be the same on all voyager class ships?

Can anyone report the cost of Johnny Rockets onboard? I've heard varying amounts for different ships.

According to a Cruise Planner from last week’s repositioning cruise from Miami, Johnny Rocket’s was $6.95. 42e26ea47c586ca9736fada027a756b3.jpg

We were on the repositioning cruise and I have a few comments...

Service was a huge decline from 6 months ago when we were on this ship. We did not eat in the MDR. We had wonderful service in Giovannis. Chops service was horrible one night and good the second time. Bar service was extremely delayed in Schooner bar and Casino. I was told they didn’t end up with many experienced bartenders after drydock. Our room steward was good.

The service is really the only difference I noticed on this ship since we sailed on her 6 months ago. I will say that we got a 10 in service last time so maybe if that hadn’t been the case we wouldn’t have noticed.

We were in 9268 which was a junior suite. The room was refurbished during drydock.

They did have toilet issues through out the ship on our second sea day. This seemed to involve shutting down certain areas of the ships toilets for a few hours at a time. They seemed to have the issue resolved by dinner that same day.

If anyone has questions feel free to ask.

We are in a junior suite in May. Trying to decide whether to book a balcony or junior suite for May 2019. Do you think junior suite is worth the extra money?

We were on this ship back last July, and the only place we noticed slow service were the bars in the theater. We were in the MDR for 3 of the 5 nights, and had great service, Chops was good, and Izumi was good.

We also had plumbing problems on deck 10. Which lingered to the end of the cruise.

Do they have a mystery dinner and amazing race on the Adventure? How about a puzzle room?

I’m not sure about the mystery dinner. In my experience the mystery dinner was always in Giovanni’s the 1st night. I know that wasn’t the case this cruise since we ate there the 1st night. I know they had it 6 months ago when we were on Adventure. Maybe they only have it on the 7 day or longer cruises?

I did not see a puzzle room. I know they had a game room with board games and stuff. I couldn’t tell you the condition of the games as we never went in there.

Bar service was extremely delayed in Schooner bar and Casino.

I got two D drinks every day at Schooner (right around trivia time) - the bartender already knew my name by second day and what I wanted to drink - never more than a couple of minute wait.
