stp_mmh5 Posted April 2, 2018 Author #77 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Thanks hamster. I needed that confidence boost. Probably a good thing to remember while running. May be helpful. Was pretty good. Will go more in depth....eventually...maybe The opening act for the comedian is apparently the reason for this, so blame him Because drones were all the rage in 1977. saus Posted April 3, 2018 #86 Share Posted April 3, 2018 Macon and Shane, Thank you for the hilarious review. What’s your favorite part of the ship so far? Favorite dish? Happy to wait until the end of the cruise for these answers. I’ll be following along. I would love more detail about El Loco Fresh. Even if it’s not all positive. I’m very curious about what the lunch/snack options are. Also, if you happen to find a bartender with a free moment, I’d love to know if they serve a Bloody Caesar on board anywhere. Has anything replaced the Dreamworks characters found on other Oasis class ships? Any word of any character breakfasts? How full would you estimate the ship is? It looks pretty empty! All these questions! I guess I’m Symphony thirsty! Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with such wit and responsiveness. Enjoy the rest of your trip! stp_mmh5 Posted April 3, 2018 Author #87 Share Posted April 3, 2018 Thanks for the great review and pictures! We have booked for May 2019 and I can't wait. The solarium looks really nice. Is there any additional charge for using the solarium (like Princess does)?Good afternoon Kontraxed! The solarium does not have an extra charge. It is supposed to be an adult only area as well, but children are allowed in to check in with parents as needed. stp_mmh5 Posted April 3, 2018 Author #91 Share Posted April 3, 2018 We interrupt your scrolling with this live report from Shane... Yes I'm coming live from the starboard hot tub with this breaking news... First to bubble up is that it is now Tuesday, this will really lift the week up Things are really heating up with the Park Cafes roast beef sandwiches Bahamma Mama is making sure the kids stay refreshed And in a late development, Operation Banana managed round up the Minions charged with leaking construction pictures to the infamous Lloyd555. Bail is set at $1.50 and a skilled claw operator Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
stp_mmh5 Posted April 3, 2018 Author #92 Share Posted April 3, 2018 Also discovered today is this vending area across from the arcade on the pool deck. Great if you need last minute items Not sure if other ships have this, but first time I've ever seen it Ill check prices later when they're operating And a recharge station, which is nice I don't know if it's been asked, but there is a fresh egg station on the backside of Windjammer at breakfast And we got a dinosaur last night, which Macon's penguin is taking for a ride Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
rbschultz Posted April 3, 2018 #93 Share Posted April 3, 2018 As for the bottle of red, yes! It was a CP perk as was lunch at our choice of either Jamie's or Johnny Rockets! We have met many people in other CP balconies who all received the perks and many are UK based citizens. Is that really a choice? LOL Jamies 200% of the time. Saus, Your multi part question will get a multi post answer with as many pictures as I can Starting from the top, My favorite part of the ship is Central Park, Macon's is schooner bar. Or a place with food. Or Dazzles, or Jazz on 4. Or that point between the solarium and the Aquatheatre. All are her happy places Speaking of food, her favorite is the French Onion soup in the dining room. A close second is the dog house. Honorable mention goes to the wings at Playmakers. I've loved the Osso Buco the most, but have pretty much enjoyed everything else equally. French Onion soup. Apparently best one yet Osso Buco And miniutarized version of the best places Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
debgreg Posted April 3, 2018 #95 Share Posted April 3, 2018 Fantastic review and great to see more wines within the DP limit. On Oasis recently there were only two or three red at the most without having to pay on top and they weren't that good even in Vintages which was always empty. I do like the location of Vintages better on Indy, I feel it doesn't get used on the Quantum or Oasis class. The cocktails over the DP were confusing for clients and staff, e.g. there was a Bloody Mary under and one over almost the same, glad they have scrapped them. stp_mmh5 Posted April 3, 2018 Author #99 Share Posted April 3, 2018 Does the Royal IQ app work on the ship? It's the other Royal Caribbean App, and as with most thing RCI IT, working is subjective. Some days it will pull up the activities and what not. Other times it sets my phone clock back two hours and gives me a bare bones look at what's on the ship without specific times of activities. To be honest, I've all but given up on it this cruise. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

I wanted to confirm that that app does NOT work on Symphony - RCI app only.
