tran93le Posted June 15, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2018 It’s not for me, but I know somebody that has an expired one. Is having just the passport good enough? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

schazzy Posted June 15, 2018 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2018 A valid passport is your best form of ID for cruises and air travel.
klfrodo Posted June 15, 2018 #6 Share Posted June 15, 2018 a valid passport is the only ID one needs anywhere in the world.

sanger727 Posted June 15, 2018 #8 Share Posted June 15, 2018 I’m confused. Is the passport expired? A valid passport is the best ID for an international trip. A valid drivers license and birth certificate can be used in its place; but no expired ID will be accepted. tran93le Posted June 15, 2018 Author #9 Share Posted June 15, 2018 I said “ID/DL”. That’s implying an identification card or drivers license. But I know now that a passport is good enough to go on. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Pyrate13 Posted June 15, 2018 #10 Share Posted June 15, 2018 If you know a passport is good enough then I don't understand what your question is per ID/DL? If they have a passport then they're good to go.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums No. 2 things are needed. 1, photo identification to prove who the person is and 2, proof of citizenship. A passport serves both purposes and is all that’s needed. If a passport isn’t available, can use a drivers license and birth certificate instead. But only one identification document is required. SadieN Posted June 15, 2018 #14 Share Posted June 15, 2018 They've never asked for my driver's license since I show my passport. Depends on the port. Just off the Inspiration, asked for ID and ship card for both ports. A copy of your passport would have worked.
JayDeeJay Posted June 16, 2018 #15 Share Posted June 16, 2018 It’s not very much trouble to get a passport, and a passport will avoid a truckload of trouble if you ever have to leave the cruise and fly back, for whatever reason. Just GET the passport and no prob.
