brookmill18 Posted July 17, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2018 We have a few that we were thinking of bringing and blowing up if we wanted to use them--is that allowed on Columbus Cove Beach? Thanks!

ONECRUISER Posted July 17, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 17, 2018 Yes, bring them... But be careful winds can kick up, you are chasing it or worse it's someone's trash...
walkerspt Posted July 17, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 17, 2018 We’re also considering taking our own floats but are not sure about blowing them up once we’re off the ship...too difficult to just blow them up by mouth. If we took a small electric pump, could we blow the floats up in the cabin and just take the inflated floats off the ship with us? Also,we will be cruising with a 4yr old grand child. Has anybody used the ‘aquatic park’ feature with a young child? How did they like it?

If so I'm pretty positive the min age is greater than 4 as I wondered about my 4 year old niece. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
cb at sea Posted July 18, 2018 #6 Share Posted July 18, 2018 They really aren't that hard to blow up by mouth, if you take your time. If you bring more than 1, have everyone blow up their own!
LookingForward2 Posted July 18, 2018 #7 Share Posted July 18, 2018 I’ve also seen several people bring those with the netting in the middle. They fold up in a circle style and usually come in a bag like case. Sent from my iPad using Forums
brookmill18 Posted July 18, 2018 Author #8 Share Posted July 18, 2018 The aquapark is fun but a LOT of work! Not sure a 4 year old would be able to do much. You need to really pull yourself up onto the floats--it's exhausting! There is a splash pad area over by Adrenaline Beach that is free and might be more fun. Baron Barracuda Posted July 18, 2018 #9 Share Posted July 18, 2018 Was at Labadee earlier this year with friends who managed to pack full size foam noodles in their luggage. Said they do it all the time, just fold along inside edges of suitcase. Personally, couldn't give up that much space when flying.
azarak Posted July 18, 2018 #10 Share Posted July 18, 2018 We purchased a water hammock from Amazon. I absolutely LOVE it. The only thing that inflates are each end. Easy Peasy.
cruisegirl1 Posted July 18, 2018 #11 Share Posted July 18, 2018 I bought an inflatable large noodle at a Publix in Florida. it was in the $3 range. Actually bought three for when one leaks. They are great, don't take too much air to inflate and pack up to nothing when not inflated. As for the OP's question, Yes - one screen photo from RCCL even shows guests using a yellow blow up float. enjoy M
Rare taxatty Posted July 19, 2018 #12 Share Posted July 19, 2018 The long foam noodles are very cheap at a Miami or Ft. Lauderdale Big Lots store and many other places and great for snorkeling--we've used them many times. If you're not local, just leave them in your room at the end of the cruise. markbach Posted July 19, 2018 #13 Share Posted July 19, 2018 We picked up some "Doodles" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0037TSTUO before our last cruise to use both as a "bumper" at the edge of the bed so my daughter doesn't roll off in the middle of the night and to use on Labadee. They take up basically no room in the suitcase and are easy to inflate and deflate.
