Robin Hood 'took from the rich to give to the poor' - he probably needs to be in certain parts of London to make a go of this laudable plan.

Equally ... to be totally pedantic, his grave - and the Abbey from whence he fired his arrow - is supposed to be in the grounds of Kirklees Hall .... right on the boundary between Huddersfield and Halifax.

The ruins of the old Abbey were still there when I was in the ground some years ago. The pub on the edge of the estate was the 3 Nuns ... original building and all that ... but it has now become a chain eatery 😏

Last night an old-time bistro classic - cabillaud a la boulangere, which is cod fillets on a bed of sliced potato and onion baked in homemade chicken stock.

Looks delicious!  I went out for Mexican last night. Had the following dinner of

Carne Asada with black beans and rice and a salad with guac and pica de gallo.......it was 

yummy!

Today was the day we had to make the heartbreaking decision for Chloe.  She was 20 1/2 and had a wonderful life.  She was loved and protected up until the end.  I know many of you have had to do the same thing and understand.
