waterwatcher Posted August 7, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2018 We cruise in a month and I just printed my documents. Previous cruises included a Health Questionnaire. I can't find it now. Did they do away with it or will we receive it at the terminal? Thanks for your help.
flounder315 Posted August 7, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2018 In May, we had to fill them out at the terminal in Galveston. But I've read they were done away with in June.
Cruiseman38 Posted August 7, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 7, 2018 It was no longer required for my June cruise on Sunshine out of Port Canaveral. I heard they were doing away with these all together at most ports.

Joebucks Posted August 7, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 7, 2018 As already said, it was done away with. It appears that they wanted to reduce the congestion/expense of the check-in process. Fine by me!
bury me at sea Posted August 7, 2018 #7 Share Posted August 7, 2018 They were not needed for July Breeze out of Galveston.
K&RCurt Posted August 7, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 7, 2018 I guess you can say it was done away with. In February we were just asked the pertinent questions when we checked in with the agent on their tablet.

Elaine5715 Posted August 8, 2018 #12 Share Posted August 8, 2018 They may or may not ask the questions at check in. Regardless, you are expected to declare (yeah, right) any symptoms for screening by medical personnel.
Lottacruises Posted August 8, 2018 #13 Share Posted August 8, 2018 They aren't supposed to ask. The pregnancy question is on the online check-in and there are signs that say if you feel unwell to tell them.
Shaded Lady Posted August 8, 2018 #14 Share Posted August 8, 2018 Realistically was anyone ever honest filling out that questionnaire? I usually filled it out months in advance and brought it with me... my theory being that if I'm not feeling well I would not be going to the port, not getting there, saying yeah, been puking all morning, only to have a Carnival employee tell me 'sorry ma'am but you won't be sailing with us this week'!!! Exactly! Mine were always filled out and signed a year in advance. In fact, most people I know filled theirs out way in advance as well.

My mom and I always filled them out the night before. We were always honest. We also were never sick.
