Andy C Posted September 29, 2018 #501 Share Posted September 29, 2018 Lovely and even more special was the fact that for this brief moment suite passengers could have seats in the SL. screenname2004 Posted September 29, 2018 #505 Share Posted September 29, 2018 Once you disembarked & embarked for a B2B, can you leave the ship for a few hours like other port of call?
dagunny Posted September 29, 2018 #506 Share Posted September 29, 2018 An FYI about the Pubkic Storage we talked about. Public storage is directly across from Thrifty to store spare clothes easily reached on turn around day. We also found where the crew shuttle is back to ship at Southport shopping area. torpeedo Posted September 29, 2018 #508 Share Posted September 29, 2018 John, thank you for posting the P picture. What a great group of people and I see several of my cruise girlfriends there among a lot of other couples we know. I hope everyone has a terrific time!!! Wish I was there but we're leaving Tuesday to go up to the Anthem so we can crowd out all the Suite people in the CK and Lounge!:'):'):')

cruisegirl1 Posted September 29, 2018 #523 Share Posted September 29, 2018 Marcie, our experience with doing b2bs is that if there is a relatively large group of consecutive cruisers, a meeting is always held to go over ow turnaround day will be handled. Many times, new SeaPass cards are handed out at this time as well. This meeting also enables staff to make sure that all consecutive cruisers are noted on the manifest and who is staying in their current stateroom and who is moving. I realize that a letter can be self explanatory, but you would be surprised at the number of questions that are asked at these meetings, so it saves long lines down at Customer Service. Consecutive Cruisers are also given the opportunity to book Specialty Dining, make MDR room changes if necessary or set up spa appointments. Thanks, we’ve done 10 or so B2B and never had any meeting. The most B2Bers we had on any sailing was in the 60-70 person range. I am sure if there is a large crowd, it can be hectic. In all those B2B debarcation mornings, I honestly don’t recall anyone asking any questions in the waiting area. The LA is usually there to welcome us, give us an approximate time of when we will walk off the ship together, and in many cases hand us our new sea pass cards. Having an opportunity to pre book some dinner reservations for the upcoming week would be a plus. Last month back to back, on the oasis, there was a mad dash by the consecutive cruisers to go up to coastal kitchen to get reservations for the upcoming week. We were not anywhere near the front of the line however, we did not want a popular time so we were able to be accommodated. Thanks for the info.
