How do you find out if there is a stateroom price drop

Do a mock booking, go through the booking process on Royal's website selecting the same exact category you presently have, also including the selections for senior, residence, police/fire, military, etc..

There are websites that do this as a paid service. Look for a fishy site.  They charge $1 per alert.

It's not working anymore...site is still active but no alerts have been sent out for last two cruises and current ones booked. :classic_huh:

Not true. I received an accurate email notification just a few weeks ago......saved me $50 with one phone call.

Hello All,

If you are already booked with a non-refundable deposit and your room price drops, can you request the lower price?   I thought Royal did away with this a number of years ago.

Thanks!

As long as you are outside the final payment DUE date, then yes you can call and get your price reduction.

Double check your alert parameters and make sure they and your email are correct....

I’ve used it many times, my alert parameters are correct. Even the boards on the site state the alerts no longer work for RCL so it’s not just me. But lucky for you it worked!  👍👍

The site hasn’t worked well for me either this past year. Will not spend any more money on it. Disappointing.

I just did the "mock booking" to check prices for a September sailing on the Anthem next year and our cruise fare dropped $415, with no loss of OBC (I think that is because we booked on board this September, but if we had lost it, it would have been worth it).  That $415 is going to pay for my drink package and still give me casino money!  😉

It's worth checking!
