The Upgrade Fairy Is Still Very Much Alive

Whoa! I had nice surprise Email from Princess in my inbox this morning.  I am booked on the World Cruise 2020 on Pacific Princess and was notified that I have been upgraded (UPGRADE NOT UPSELL)  from Oceanview/Outside deck 4 OB fwd/midish to a Balcony deck 6 aft (1st cabin next to mid-aft) BE.  I was so hoping this would happen and I am really surprised it is this far out (13 months)  MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME! 🙂

OMG!  Congratulations! I am surprised you have an upgrade so early on a 2020 cruise but so happy for you (and a little bit jealous). Have a wonderful cruise and direct that upgrade fairy toward the rest of us please.   LOL  :)

Congrats on the great news!  Friends of mine on the same sailing were upgraded (not upsold) from an obstructed oceanview to  a forward-facing balcony.  Fantastic upgrade for them too!  The other people I know on this sailing were both offered an upsell from their balcony but turned it down.
