Blu - Onion Soup and Shrimp Cocktail

We just upgraded to an AQ on our Transatlantic and are excited about dining in Blu.  My one concern is I love the French onion soup on Celebrity ... can I make a special request for this or even a shrimp cocktail?

Yes, you can get the everyday items from the MDR in Blu.  We have ordered the French onion soup and the escargot many times.

Yes, you can order French Onion soup and Shrimp ... every night if you wish.  I too, love both these and always have them several times in Blu during a Cruise.

On the first night, they should present you with an everyday menu.   Those two items are included along with a few others.  They are available every evening.

it's been my experience with many trips in Blu that it is a rare case where they actually mentioned to you that you can get some of those classics. That's a shame as unless people read these boards they won't know that.

I agree.  We have been in Blu many times and they have never told us that.  I have asked for a Shrimp Cocktail though and have gotten it.

DH loves the escargot and shrimp cocktail and the thought of not having it available was his one hesitation when booking Aqua for the first time. Happily he was reassured by folks on CC and has enjoyed them (as well as Caeser salad and French onion soup) in each cruise in Blu.
