Passenger death on the Pacific Princess world cruise

I read on Cruise Junkie this morning that a female passenger died onboard, reportedly of complications of norovirus, while the ship was traversing the Pacific Ocean.

When I received an email from mutual friends about this there was absolutely  no mention of norovirus.

This is very sad, but when you look at the demographics of world cruisers understandable.  In 2009 on the world cruise there were often ambulances at the port waiting to take deceased persons.  There were a number of deaths, mostly those over 80.

these people look like late 60 or early 70

She was not elderly.

We have cruised with them in the past and our hearts go out to her husband. Use to love watching them dance.
