Sail in a cheap JS solo and that is an easy 21 points. Add a casino offer to it and cost per day is minuscule. So, how much is a cheap solo JS? sisocialworker Posted March 6, 2019 #605 Share Posted March 6, 2019 all suite guests can do when Pins take over is complain to the concierge, loyalty ambassador, hotel director...royal usually knows what is happening and will compensate the suite guests....usually doesn't help in the immediate moment ...but they realize it

Have to admit though haven’t been that loyal, we cruise on many other lines otherwise would have made Pinnacle a long time ago. Making Pinnacle has never been a goal of ours. I was 8 in 1970. Didnt even know what a vacation cruise was until Love Boat.

We have never used the casino even though our D+ benefits include some free casino benefits. Back in the day, the D+ coupon book included 3-5 match play coupons. Plus, the "taxes" he had to pay included non-commissionable fees, so you are correct in saying port fees and taxes and anything else Royal deems. The annual free cruise does not have to cover the non commission portion, just the published taxes and port fees

I gotta chuckle at all the talk of alcohol in this thread. I drink, but my favorite part of the DL by far is the espresso machine. The wonderful D concierge on Mariner in December finally showed me how to make a proper Americano... apparently I was doing it wrong for years! Rare budmeister Posted March 6, 2019 #620 Share Posted March 6, 2019 Well, here is my 2 cents. Hubby and I became Diamond a couple of years ago- after 17 years of accumulating points. Children who sail with a Diamond parent retain Diamond status after turning 18 w/o having earned those points, and their children get the status immediately. There are all these Diamond travelers that have not earned the status, yet represent a LOT of cruisers. While I will never pay for a suite, at least those people are paying for the perks they are receiving. If Diamond status had been retained for those that earn it, there would be a lot less Diamonds and more room for benefits to being Diamond.

Any casino vouchers we gave to anyone we were speaking to in the DL who went to the casino.

Table games are given points based on wagers and time spent playing. At the end end of the cruise or multiple cruises, the casino host/Club Royale may award a certificate based on your points. The higher the points, the better the certificate/discount/cabin Comp. i never played enough to be comped a Suite but did get a couple of balcony cabins we were able to upgrade to a GS. Typically, we would get a discount. Not sure i understand a prize draw?

I think the OP was asking if they give raffle tickets based on number of plays and you have to « win » a cruise in a raffle, rather than just be comped outright. With regards to a prize draw I thought maybe everyone who played in the casino got a ticket every day they played then at the end of the cruise a draw was made and the winner was comped a balcony.
