Canada/NE  is a short cruising season for most all the cruise lines .

Too bad 😕 as Canada/NE  is not all about leaves .

Norwegian does a few Canada/NE cruises in May/June which is early in the season.

Canada cruising season usually ends late October/early November.

FWIW, we did Carnival's CA/NE itinerary out of NYC a couple of years ago and loved it!  We sailed in late September and the weather was just about perfect.

CA/NE cruises are typically only in early September through early November.

We did Carnival's 'Canada Cruise' twice now

- out of Manhattan, to Boston -to Portland,ME

then Saint Johns NB ..then Halifax NS then back to NYC.

Nice enough cruise: quite sedate compared to warm weather Caribbean cruises!

Most ppl imagine they're going to sail past a coastline

filled with autumn colours right there in your face...

Nothing is further from the reality.

You'll see the fall colours only when you go ashore!

Although we did see some distant whale activity en route to Boston

I was assuming the OP knew about those, and was wondering if more would be added.  But good point, just in case.

The OP said said he or she wants to cruise to Canada next year. Which last time I checked, was 2020. 😉
