I really liked having the app. Sometimes it is not 100% accurate but I still found it to be useful. I really enjoyed looking at the menus and the daily planners so we could make tentative plans ahead of time. I hope this helps!

just to clarify I assume the app is for use while on board correct? a way to keep track of all the things we signed up for?? and that the connection is free? we have only sailed Disney  and their app is free to use on board ( connection/wifi) and there is a chat function. does royal’s app work the same? thanks!

Correct, except the chat has only been reported functional on Harmony and Allure so far.

Anyone have a clue on the roll out of additional ships to the app?

CEO Fain mentioned a completion by the end of 2020 for all ships - may not mean all features to all ships.

I see there is a chat functionality on the Royal App.  Has anyone used this yet?  Do you get charged for it?

No charge for chat on the Royal App.  Only reported to function on Harmony and Allure.

excellent!   So to confirm, I just download the app, add my friends and we can chat on there for free?   No need to buy a voom package

Correct, but I don't think you will be able to add friends until you are onboard.  The App will work now to show you menus, etc., but no chat function until you are onboard.

Downloaded the App yesterday sailing on the (Allure).

Times listed already in place.

It has loaded on the scheduled show times and port times.
