ScottC4746 Posted May 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2019 On our Eurodam cruise we noticed some very nice chaise loungers up along the window that looked out. We are booked on a 17 night Hawai'i cruise with 10 straight days (five out five back) at sea. How can a couple enjoy these, mark them while they go eat or do an activity, and return without being billed a "chair hog"?

You are joking, yes? That is a perfect description of being a chair hog. Leave it and lose it!

Despegue Posted May 14, 2019 #6 Share Posted May 14, 2019 You can always make a placard like “ reserved for ScottC4746, do not use” and put it on the lounger/table etc. 🤪😇 1

Smooth Sailing! 🙂🙂🙂
Krazy Kruizers Posted May 14, 2019 #9 Share Posted May 14, 2019 You better be there very early to get one of those loungers -- and when you leave -- kiss them goodbye for the day. There is no food delivery service there.
DeeniEncinitas Posted May 14, 2019 #10 Share Posted May 14, 2019 Well instead of chair hog, you can be a dog and mark your territory! Guarantee no one will sit there! LOL. I can’t believe someone would write this. JMO I think this was meant to be a joke right? Denise😊
Moriah Posted May 14, 2019 #11 Share Posted May 14, 2019 LOL!! When I see someone strategically leave their stuff on one, obviously to "mark" it, and yes it does happen, I immediately put their stuff on the window sill so someone else can take the chair. I'm so bad.

But if they are leaving the lounge, nope. Edited May 14, 2019 by Moriah

I'd give them 5-7 minutes to use the washroom and return, but that's about it .... hehehehehe These chairs are prime real estate and a precious shared commodity - use it or lose it, first come first serve, no saving of seats .......
