We have just had a call from the concierge inviting us to a sushi dinner tomorrow evening with other cruise critic passengers and the guest relations manager! I didn’t see that coming...

Our cards have been changed!

we went to the concierge re the drink thing last night, they have added the correct code but our cards are no longer Yacht Club! 

Hope we can get back in later!

Nikki .... how did they know you were a CC member (or who the other CC members are)?  I'm assuming there wasn't an M&M register for your cruise, what with it being in the Med.

 

Very strange that the YC concierge would have non-YC cards for printing.  I wonder is it to do with indicating your drinks package, that they didn't issue a YC card.  🤔  Despite it being a non-YC one, your cards would, more than likely, be programmed to allow access to the enclave.  Still, this is yet another new event in the saga of YC upgrades.

Nikki has attended other MSC M&M's, they keep that info in their files.

From the pics that looks like "crab stic"  crab flavored fish product--typical also in grocery store sushi.  Unfortunate given this is YC. Food looks nice.

I did join the roll call for this week and someone posted that if they had 6 registered then MSC would organise drinks, I wasn’t expecting anything to happen so was a big surprise this morning when the concierge called me to say it was a dinner!

We have just done a fabulous street food tour with a company called Streaty, it was 38 euros each and we had a very good tour with plenty to eat and drink!

I had noticed CC has left the M&M's showing for all year Divina sailings but thought it was just a relic.  This is also the first time I've heard MSC recognize CC members on a European sailing.  Most of those Roll Calls are hard to get going and have very few participants, if MSC starts recognizing CC members in Europe it may help.

We have ( or should I say I have) decided that we are going to try to upgrade on the Bellissima next April...it will be my birthday whilst we are on that cruise so that would be good to do, only thing is Yacht Club is showing full at the moment!

Nikki ask Future cruises on board they may see one for you to upgrade— this was the case for someone on our Preziosa cruise 

MSC have different allocation for different countries as you know

Yes he is! For Christmas I have started to make him a malt whiskey advent calendar!

the first year I did it he couldn’t understand why if we were in a restaurant or bar I would have toilet roll centres in my bag...
