Over water cabana cococay

Recommended Posts

So I just decided to take another spring break cruise April 16 2020.

Lady G out of Bitmore to carious places with the highlight being cococay.

I've been there twice...but before the officially opened.

I've used a South Beach Bungalow....which I think are now South Beach Cabanas

I've also used a suite cabana....which 'I think' are now chill island cabanas

I wanted to book an over water cabana....but I don't see them in the planner....is this because (take a guess I suppose)

1. They are sold out already and aren't listed

2. They are suite guest only

3. ??

Yeah I guess that's option three (early as in not built yet 😉 )....but 'supposed' to be done by Nov 2019

All the other stuff is available in the cruise planner.....at least all the other stuff I'm not interested in.

And I KNOW it's way too early to email the concierge and ask 😉

The Bungalows are still on South Beach for now, but too much longer.  The "new" South Beach is supposed to be open in December.

Listing for those on my sailings are almost half what the other Cabana's are.

I have been watching my planner ever since i booked for jan 2020. I havent seen a single person claim they have booked one yet or that they have even seen one on their planner.

Since they are scheduled to open but havent yet, my guess is that they are not available to book at all yet at all.

I would keep checking,.

I’m booked on the Harmony in February 2020. I booked a south beach cabana last week. I had OBC so it cost me $300.

Never mind. Just realized you meant The over water ones.

Yeah, i've been really keeping an eye out for the overwater ones. The price point is crazy but i really want it.

If i miss the over water I'll probably try for a beach club cabana, still pricey but should be a lot quieter.. and access to the beach club.

I've had a nice conversation with a different RC agent.

It's a semantics issue.  The over water cabanas are "coco cay beach club'

and have not been released to Cruise planner for booking yet.

I kept saying 'Over water cabanas on south beach' and all they heard was 'cabanas on south beach' which are available 😉

They are what is currently off the beaten path.  I suspect this will be an expensive area in the future.

BTW, when are your sailings?

Traveling on airplane at moment, know one date is end of April 2020

Hmm, just checked for our July 2020 sailing and NO cabanas or nothing with the water park listed.

Parasailing, swimming with pigs or stingrays, glass bottom boat, or snorkeling.  That is ALL.

Surprisingly I have Cabana's listed for a April 27 2020 Cruise. Though might still be too early for different ship/sailing

Our cruise is May 3rd 2020 and nothing available on our cruise planner yet. When did your's show up ?
