Rita's Crab Shack

Does Radiance of the Seas still have Rita's (either Cantina or Crab Shack for Alaska)?  Or is this Samba Grill now?

Samba Grill is still there,  don't know about Rita's.  On some Radiance class ships, the space for Rita's is still there, but there's no food being served.

Rita's was gone when we were on Radiance last May.  Still looked like the cantina, though they had put up the crab pattern curtains to the service area.

Rita's, in any form, is long gone from the Radiance.    R.I.P.

 

Samba Grill is up on Deck 12 where the Seaview Café once was.

Went to it on Allure. I liked it.

Yes, we went there last month and it was good.  Maybe not as good as we had heard ahead of time, but we still enjoyed it, and would consider it again.  Only on 2 ships, so if you want to try it, go for it!!

We actually loved Samba on Radiance.  Overall, each course was fabulous.  I do remember that one wasn’t very tasty but it doesn’t matter because you skip that one and go on to the next. The restaurant is in a dark part of the ship.  When we left,  the view of the sky was breathtaking.  So many stars that you could see because it was so dark.

 

The only other ship that has Samba is Allure and we’re sailing on her in July.  We’ll definitely eat dinner there one night.

Can't remember which Radiance class (Serenade?) is occupied by Izumi where the Seaview Café was.  Also, was it later replaced by an Italian type food outlet.

I remember Izumi in the former Seaview location on Brilliance and Jewel.
