Take 5 is the new Jazz lounge that replaced Crooners ... correct ?

right off the double duo of smoke filled casino and the cigar filled Churchill's ... wonderful ...:classic_sad: ... :classic_angry:

Club 6 on the Royal/Regal in the same location was terrible IMO. Seemed like it was an after thought and the only public space they had left to fill.

Now that it is a Jazz Lounge there I can only imagine.

We never had smoke issues there.

I just noticed that Bellini's has now been moved to deck 5 where the IC bar used to be, and on deck 6 where Bellini's used to be it now shows a Good Spirits bar.

https://www.princess.com/deckPlans.do?shipCode=YP

Clicking on that link shows a Piazza Bar next to the IC & not Bellini’s so that space has changed names again.

I’ve rarely seen Bellini’s busy & have read posts about the bar next to the IC being used as Good Spirits but on the Sky it’s replacing Bellini’s.

Makes sense as they probably want a spot that stands out to the atrium and not stuffed in some corner.

I agree Bellinis seemed to be a dud to me.

I’ve read complaints about the noise at he Piazza Bar next to the IC from Good Spirits activities so moving it to the previous underutilized Bellini’s space makes sense to me & as you wrote to be more visible.

My wife liked Bellini’s because no one was there & she could use a table to do her quilting & scraping. 😉

Maybe people thought that is only drink they could get there???  I guessing they could make other things if you went there.  We have only passed by.

The drink menu is limited at Bellini’s & the ones we’ve tried around the ship have varied greatly including at a MTP cocktail party.

How old is this menu?  Good choices but the current wines by the glass seem to be different and cost more?  Thanks.

I do hope they haven’t eliminated the library - enjoy having a place to leave my book and snag one that some other cruiser has left.  Would hope they’ll have some dedicated shelving in the Internet cafe for that purpose at the very least.

Based on the deck plans the previous library area on Royal-class ships is now part of the Crown Grill Bar.  That change was discussed on the roll call for the Sky’s November cruise & was posted that the library was gone due to a lack of usage.  The inaugural cruise is in about 5 weeks & we might receive confirmation about the status of the library
