Following along!  Thank you for taking the time to post...even a low key live is fun to read.  The food pics from La Mer looks great.  I’ll have to try it when we’re on the Sky in April.  Looking forward to the Sky more and more as I read more reports.

have a great cruise!

Take 5 lounge........
Versus Club 6 on Royal/Regal it is configured a little differently.
Same long shape but a tad wider and more of a rectangle shape. Seems to be more open with a little less of compartmentalized. (Is that really a word?)
Photos are a little dark.

No plans for me to go off today. The wind is howling big time!! Thrusters have been going for quite sometime keeping us pushed against the dock while they secure the ship. I was going to go to Florence just to walk around but based on the weather.......ah na.  🙁

Random  shots.

Port and Starboard carpets are only slightly off color. They don’t appear to be similar to the older ships with the specific color for each side.

They do look different, at least in the photos. One side has gold strips on the sides of the patterns and the other looks to have black strips.

Also, the colored strips are only on one side of the patterns. As they are only on one side, is this a subtle way of indicating which direction is forward and which is to aft?

Are soap bars still available from your cabin steward on request?

Thanks

No idea I haven’t asked.

I bring my own.

Boy I hope not. Most never noticed the red/green on other ships let alone these slight differences.

Is the hot chocolate in the WFM available all day or just in the morning for breakfast?  Enjoy your cruise; we are on her in April.

The free hot chocolate machines as well as the automated coffee machines (decaf and regular)  are available 24/7.

They are located in the outside aft section of the WFM and inside at the beverage stations.

Thanks for this Colo.  One question; I have read that the smell of cigarette smoke is very evident in Take Five.  Can you comment on that?

You’re welcome

It was not. I have been through Take 5 several times during lots of smoking in the casino next door and it was not an issue in Take 5.
