Does anyone know if there a further discount onboard for passengers with elite status for the multi device package (up to 4 devices)?  It is listed at $14.99 per day  ... is it cheaper if I wait until we are onboard?

Cruise Raider,  I have read on other threads that if you have elite status; what ever your allotted minutes are for your elite category is applied to the $14.99 rate.  So you may get a rate of lets say $12.99 per day or even less depending on your minutes.  So in your case; wait till you are on ship to get the best rate.  I have no status with Princess; so I will buy before I board; they offer a grate rate in my personalizer.  Have a great day

This was the price on our 14-day cruise available to purchase onboard using OBC in lieu of our free 300 minutes...we kept our minutes.

 

The 4-device plan was the same price as 2 individual plans.

Can you please advise the length of your cruise?  I thought I have seen you on older threads from 2019 where there was detailed discussion of single-device and 4-device packages.  I can tell you that the net cost on board of the 4-device package will be the same as two single-device packages.  As an Elite you should wait and book the package on board. 

 

Post your length and I can tell you.  Or, better yet, perhaps it is time to post the price charts once more:

Yes, I knew and posted about the single device unlimited package and how it was better to wait until we were onboard.  I just wasn't sure if there was a discount on the multi device package.  My sailing is 5 days and there is no package price available on my personalizer for either package ... just a daily rate ($8.99 per day single device or $14.99 per day for multi device).  According to the graph above, I would do better by purchasing one multi device package at $14.99 per day than get the discounted package above.  For my 5 day sailing, it would come out to $75 total but the graph shows the discounted price of $82.50.  I know it's just around $7 less but, looks like it is more if I wait.  Check my math ... could that be right?

Unfortunately, I have very little OBC on this sailing ... not even enough to cover my gratuities.  That's ok, I got a great deal on my cabin, just bare bones fare and nothing else.

There are not many cruises of that length with reports.  Now I wish I had asked someone on those Sky inaugaurals in Dec what the prices were.  The set price I have may or may not be adjusted for shorter cruises. 

 

However, I personally might go ahead and book and then check the on board price on Day 1.  If anything in your favor on board they just might give you a credit.  Small dollars anyway.  It just seems odd that the Platinum/Elite price would be more.  I wonder if on board they price the 4-device at $15/day, less 25%.  Would be interesting to know.

in the BSE, Princess is selling the wifi at $10 pp pd bundled  - unlimited one device per person ( $ 40 for all 3, $ 30 for BEST2DG )

 

if anything , we will just wait until onboard, then most likely use our minutes - 150 each for our little 5 day cruise - or maybe, upgrade a single device to unlimited at $ 8.99 per day ( current online pricing pre-cruise ) as that would be the max we would use

It's worth a try.  Either way, I will buy a package .. it may just be the single device as my DH was just going to take it if the price was good.  I am still hoping they give the 25% off the daily rate of $15.  That would be the best ... maybe even two drinks.  😉

My sailing is this month so, I cannot add the BEST2DG.  I wish I could ... that would be great!  I'd pay the $40 a day pp for all three ... not even giving it a second thought!

I have a question regarding the four devices plan. Can all four be signed on at the same time?   My DH and I cruise on the Sky this weekend.  I was going to buy two single device plans but if a four device is the same price as two single plans we could keep our phones signed in also.  Is there just one common password for all four?

Per the 4-device plan’s description: “Enjoy unlimited internet throughout your voyage for up to four devices at a time”.

 

We only had a 1-device plan so don’t have any experience with sign in for multiple devices.

I think we will try the 4 device plan. Seems like more Bang for our OBCs   Usually our phones are in the safe but this will be our first Medallion cruise.   Might be easier to have my phone with me vs the iPad.     We could use the one device at a time, but I get the evil raised eyebrow and sigh when I ask if he is off!

We had the 4-device plan on our last cruise and shared with our friends.  I had both my smartphone and a PC.  Basically, we all had our phones connected all the time.  When I wanted to use my PC, the system advised me I needed to disconnect something and was presented with all four connected devices and I could choose the one to be disconnected.  Of course, I always picked one of my friends...... just kidding!!
