Kat, I looked it up online, it's a really cute dress!   so exciting reading about your ongoing plans for the summer trip 🙂

I've hit a weird patch in the planning.  I just can't think of things now.  I may have pull back a little before getting back into it.  Maybe I went too fast, don't know.  I did get my notice today for the final payment for the barge part of the trip.

last month of work.  I put out the list of arrivals from the 22nd until April 17 (when our season ends) - only NINE arrivals!!!  That doesn't count any owners who don't rent out their condos because they aren't in the system - we know they are showing up if they call or email or literally just show up.

Mammogram and bone scan this afternoon.  Fun.  At least it's at the local hospital, so a one-stop shop for me.  I have to go grocery shopping after that -I'm out of coffee and breakfast food.  I went into my camping kitchen box this morning for a packet of my instant coffee for my brew.

OOTD:  leggings and my tie dye big sweater.  Oh, and those hi-tops!!!

Oh wow, Lois! Seems like it’s a never ending job to check up on accuracy of claims. Good thing you are on top of it.

Kat, I too have to sometimes step away from detailed projects and then, if I’m lucky, I will get a new perspective and things will fall into place.

I also am looking forward to traveling vicariously with you. So many different experiences await.

Hi Sharon, yes, I will continue to keep track now that I found this was wrong. To be honest, I have never been one to keep a close eye on this but you can bet I will now.

Oh.......I forgot to wish those of you who celebrate

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I'll try to keep up and post.  Warning - I'm big on food porn.

Mammo and bone scan done.  Nothing better than being handed a nice warm robe to wear rather than that flimsy paper thing.   Mammo was a mammo; a little hard on the left side with the bad shoulder, but got through.  The bone scan was rather relaxing, laying on the table for abut 4 minutes.

I’m part Irish and do fix corned beef, although not in the last few years. However, yesterday I did fix corned beef and cabbage and our GD had her first taste. She liked the carrots best.

Weather here is quite nice-in the 50’s so we are going to the zoo today. Flew a kite yesterday after visiting the U of MN art museum. Not much down time!

Kat, food porn is good too. We can see how it’s done elsewhere.  Will also look forward to seeing the barge accommodations. Oh and scenery too! Not asking for much am I?

Happy Birthday Lois!   I was finally able to tell my old job to shove it and quit once I turned 65 - I was staying there unhappily until Medicare kicked in.  Finding the right plan to fit you can take time; at least you live in a large metropolitan area and will likely have more choices that someone in a small rural county.

All by myself since 11:30 again.  Now, the other co-worker is sick with what the 2 of us had.  4 check-ins, but one is the owner's kid and 2 are after I leave for the evening.   After today, we slow down a lot - 4 guests and 7 owners between tomorrow and April 17 (our end of season).  All one-a-day, with some days with no one.

Results of the bone density test already back:  I'm on the upper cusp of low bone density, but not osteoperosis.   Just keep doing my Vitamin D and add some calcium to slow.

OOTD:  wide legged yoga pants, mustard sleeveless Vneck T, the jacket/sweater jacket.  And the usual footwear.

Last week was much colder but this week is quite nice considering it’s March in Minnesota.  Trees are still bare, no blossoms this early and grass areas are also brown. Snow still piled  up in shady areas but if this weather keeps up it will be gone soon.

GD is full of energy and we can’t take our eyes off her for even a second.   We are worn out by the end of the day but it’s a good tired.

Good news on the bone density, Kat. Nice that you can take it easy as the season winds down. Any chance for another round of adult beverages like you scored at the end of last year’s season?

Yep, figuring out the best Medicare option can take some time.  Lots to consider.

Probably not as much adulting as the last 2 years.  it seems that the folks like those seltzers (yuck) or cheap beer this year.  I hunt through the beer and tag what I'll drink - none of the Bud Light and stuff.  I still have plenty of vodka and rum left, anyway!  Another nice bottle or 2 of wine would be nice, though.
