Morning ,I've been up a few hours now but checking out other things ,like RCL

ships are reported to be clamping down on multi outlet block plugs as well as

even the small extension leads .We know the surge ones were banned anyway .

Could this spread to other cruise lines ?

Moving onto other things ,like we were told as kids , rainbows for instance ?

"You will find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow . Really ?

What a load of .....

Take care and have a good day 🙂.rainbow.jpg.8eeb18fd5fd55cc8d755c47be209e318.jpg

Good Morning everyone, hope you are all ok this morning.

Just the usual stuff for me today. Taking my mum shopping this morning and then going to the gym this afternoon.

We are having cavity wall insulation fit today, they were here at 8am, lots of drilling and noise. I pity my hubby with his work meetings today.

Have a lovely day everyone

Michelle

Good morning all , we’ve had a few good days of weather so we have been down the beach for our usual lunches 😉 , I went out for dinner last night with my two daughters for a girly night out but we were all home and in bed for 9.30 😂 all very tired with their busy lives , it was a Turkish restaurant and quite expensive really but all worth it . Hope you are all feeling well and have a good day .

I see now that there are two places, known as Towyn and Tywyn, which is English and Welsh for beach area.  We obviously stayed at the one near the railway, which was known in those days as Towyn.  I believe they changed one to try to avoid confusion.

Tywyn (Mid Wales) has always been known as Tywyn in Welsh. The English version, Towyn, was also used years ago, and has now been dropped. I worked in Tywyn for many years and remember that deliveries were sent to the other Towyn on more than one occasion!

Just looked on my atlas, and they are both in, spelt Tywyn nowadays, so very confusing.  I was obviously referring to the southerly one, which was - at least in England - known as Towyn all those years ago.  Presumably how it was supposed to be pronounced for the ignorant English.

My favourite plumber had just left after replacing all of the bathroom taps.  I  do wish that he would let us pay him for his time but he never wants anything more than the cost of the parts.  I will have to find a nice bottle of whisky for him and leave it in his house when I go to take his daughter to school next week.

Amazon have got a really good offer on Caol Ila 12 year old in their offer of the day today. 30% off. A good price if he likes a peaty dram.

It looks very nice. A shame the same can't be said for the North Sea? It has been rather bleak today
