Good morning everyone.

A bright sunny morning here, not as cold as yesterday morning, but still a nippy 9c.

Frank had a restless night, so is still in bed at the moment. I've set the table and weighed out the blueberries for breakfast, so now I'm at a bit of a loose end.

There are still some garden jobs to be done ready for winter, that the strange Autumn weather has delayed, so I think I'll see if we can get a little more done if the day stays bright and dry. When we were younger we would garden in all weathers and all seasons., Now we are weather dependent, but thankful we can still do it since we made the garden  easier to cope with. It's more of a pottering garden now than a gardener's garden if you know what I mean. Mowing, hedge trimming, pruning, weeding and planting up pots and baskets etc.

Well enough of my ramblings.

Have good day everyone whatever you do and wherever you are.

Take care.x

Avril

Hope you both have a lovely day today and that Frank has a more settled night tonight

Good morning everyone, hope you are all ok today.

It’s a miserable morning here, raining steadily. Dogs are showing no sign of wanting to go out for a walk.

It’s the Kite Festival in St Annes this weekend, we went yesterday, it’s amazing!!

Have a good day everyone

Michelle

Good morning, another grey day here with a visit to B&Q the only thing planned for today.

We watched Strictly last night so we now know that winter is fast approaching.  I had never heard of a lot of the "celebrities", though it was good to see Amy Dowden back and looking well after she missed the last season because of her cancer.

We both enjoyed the "Last night at the Proms" so a good evening in for us.

Have a good day whether on land or sea.

Good Morning,

Another bright sunny day at 16c here.

Off to Truro today on a shopping trip with my daughter and granddaughter.

Walking back from the hairdressers yesterday took a couple of photos which indicate that autumn is here with all the Canadian Geese that have arrived en route to? and boy are they noisy when they fly over!

Good morning everyone,

Good morning Michelle ,those kites look lovely .Thanks for the heads up the other week

regarding the world fireworks championship.

I think it was Poland we watched online and they looked brilliant for those who were lucky

enough to see them live .

If they are doing more ,we would be thankful for a heads up so we can tune in again .

Take care 🙂

Very quiet here today most must be having a lazy Sunday 🙂

We got home yesterday from a weeks break at a holiday cottage in Johnshaven we had to look it up on a map to find out where it was.  It's a quiet village between Stonehaven and Montrose nice cottage beside the harbour with a local pub nearby with a good menu so we went there a few nights and also a lovely cafe/coffee shop a five minute walk away, very nice scones and carrot cake 🙂

Morning all,

After rain overnight, it is a dull, damp and misty start for today but mild at 15c.

A busy week for me this week getting ready to visit the in-laws next week. A trip into Penzance is on my list of things to do today, just hope the traffic is better than it has been.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning ,hope everyone's doing  ok 🙂

@zap99 Hope your cruise goes well and you enjoy your "shop free" days .

Somehow I would be feeling uneasy about this shopping truce 🤔

Got visions of trekking the streets of Spain asking "Do you sell Polo mints "?

and if they happen to ,your pleading with your good woman.."But they are a lot

cheaper back home ,can we just wait "? To which you get the stern reply ....

"No ,you said we can buy them here " 🤣  No good will come of  it 🙃

Take care everyone 🙂

Graham - my exciting things for today are doing my grocery order and putting out all the paper for the paper bin collection tomorrow.

However, the sun is shining and could well do so all day, so not all bad.

You're probably much to young to remember bundling up newspapers, tying them up with string and leaving them by the bin......we ain't taking that.😂

I'm sure you and Gail will have another amazing cruise on Anthem of the seas.

Best wishes for a wonderful cruise.
