denamo Posted April 14, 2020 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2020 We cancelled our cruise under Royal's Cruise with Confidence before they announced our cruise was cancelled. Our TA handled it. Will I be sent an email with the FCC number from Royal or does the TA contact me with it?
Grenouille21 Posted April 14, 2020 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2020 You will receive an email, but your TA can look for it in the TA portal. It won't show up there until it has been issued, but they can check for it in case you think you've missed an email.

It's been right at a month, so I'll wait a bit longer. Not really planning to book right now.
hannibal54 Posted April 14, 2020 #4 Share Posted April 14, 2020 I recently got an e-mail about our FCC information, I haven't asked my TA if they got one or not.
Tony O Posted April 14, 2020 #5 Share Posted April 14, 2020 I did not receive any notification from Royal about my FCC. I did receive one frm my TA stating that I do have the FCC. It seems hit or miss if Royal sends it to you or not. I posted this question to Royal via another social media platform. The response was that all correspondence will be sent to my travel partner(TA) since they have ownership/ control over my booking. That if there are any questions concerning this please contact my TA
Ourusualbeach Posted April 14, 2020 #6 Share Posted April 14, 2020 It may also depend on if your TA put your e mail address on the reservation.
TYMAN Posted April 14, 2020 #7 Share Posted April 14, 2020 Although my TA cancelled my May cruise (it was booked through her), the FCC came to my email and I used it combined with my my casino perk, without my TA's help.
Rare terry&mike Posted April 14, 2020 #8 Share Posted April 14, 2020 I am a TA and have received emails from Royal for my client's FCC's, which I have forwarded on to my clients. When they are ready to use those FCC's they can either book with me again, book with another agent, or book directly with Royal, as they like. Actually spurred me to clean out that junk folder so I wouldn't miss any communication from Royal if the notice went there. Thanks.
RosieRoo Posted April 14, 2020 #10 Share Posted April 14, 2020 I received mine in an email directly to me even though the reservation was booked with a travel agent. I think it’s true though that your email had to be on your booking in order to have it sent directly to you.
jagsfan Posted April 14, 2020 #11 Share Posted April 14, 2020 Thank you for your response. It's been right at a month, so I'll wait a bit longer. Not really planning to book right now.I never got an email or notice from my big box TA or from Royal. I called Royal and they said the FCCs were already generated. You might want to check. Brandis Posted April 14, 2020 #13 Share Posted April 14, 2020 Is it normal that they send FCC emails separatly? We had a cruise with 3 cabins booked, received an email containing FCCs for person 1 in booking 1, person 2 in booking 2 and person 1 in booking 3. Our travel agent is now checking with RCL where the other 3 FCCs are.

Every reservation seems to have its own unique quirks in how it’s processed.
Brandis Posted April 14, 2020 #15 Share Posted April 14, 2020 I guess so 🙂 I'm not too worried at the moment.
mworkman Posted April 14, 2020 #16 Share Posted April 14, 2020 I’m still waiting TA nor Royal has informed me that our cruise is cancelled, which I know it has been (Alaska 29 May 2020). I did go on-line to the link for cruise planner to opt for FCC.
