Today was the day i was to start my 6 day Magic Cruise from Miami. We had priority boarding and a case of water waiting for us in the room. This was our 2nd cruise on the Magic in a year. I MISS CRUISING !!!  3 ports and 2 days at sea. Shows, Dinner, Casino and being pampered for a week. I MISS CRUISING !!!.

I hope a few others of you will add your thoughts.

Don't know if the OP gets casino fares, but Magic has some excellent casino rates on a future Nov and Dec sailings.  One way to commiserate a lost sail date is to book another to look forward to!

Today would be the day we would be debarkation Carnival Magic in Fort Lauderdale from our 8 day eastern Caribbean cruise.    We are rebooked for next April 2021 on Breeze for same cruise out of Fort Lauderdale for 8 days, same itinerary.

Booked for the Magic on July 4! Still hanging on to a thread of hope. Would be our first time on Dream class.  It's our 3rd rebooked Covid cruise.

Are you ready for a fourth try?

Us too.  It was supposed to be the cruise when we finally reached platinum status. We rebooked a completely different cruise out of Galveston for September.

Sigh.  We are on the fence.  We might get a refund this time.  We don't have the time to cruise in the fall and next year's rates seem high to me.

Yes this was the Magics repositioning cruise to Miami we were not scheduled to leave until 9pm. I thought it was strange time when we booked  until i realized the reposition. Next Booking is Last week of Aug 2020 out of San Juan on the Fascination. Sure hope this goes

Still booked for September... keeping my fingers crossed.  Haven't booked airline tickets and wonder if I should do that while the airlines have waived change fees (if booked before May 31)

I understand where your coming from.  We were to leave the 15th of March, but got cancelled out because of the virus.  I was feeling WONDERFUL two days before the cruise.  Within a couple days later I got pretty sick (not the virus), but was down for about a month, and a cruise was the LAST thing on my mind! I started feeling better on Easter, and now I feel like I am back to myself once again.  Are you ready for this................my brain started thinking, and I thought, I'm going to change the itinerary we were to do, and pick out the main port (St. Lucia) that I had fallen in love with years ago. Come to find out the other 6 people I had checked with, had never been there, and they are getting excited like me, only we have to WAIT, and see what the future brings, but it doesn't hurt to dream, right? 🙂

I might even go on the Port Miami web cam today at 4pm to watch my sail away.

The day you're supposed to board but aren't, is a hard day.

For my April 11th cruise that was cancelled, in the afternoon around sail away time, I went out on the patio and had some cocktails and listened to music.

yes it was sad to look at the empty pier and beautiful weather. I did have a cold beer to toast the sailing in my mind.

We were supposed to board Magic on May 9, they day you'd have been getting off.  We were scheduled to fly down a day earlier and were really looking forward to our cruise.  It's been 5 years since we cruised last too.  Last October we were in Hollywood Beach, FL (just below where the ships sail in/out of Port Everglades and Fort Lauderdale) for a couple days and I got up early on Oct. 20 to watch Magic sail back in thinking we'd be on her soon.  This was a great itinerary too.  Miami to HMC, Grand Turk, sea day; Aruba (8:00 - 10:30pm), Curacao, 2 sea days at the end.  Love HMC and GT and Aruba and Curacao would have been new islands for us.  This has already started hitting - I'd have been mostly packed by now with excitement building like a little kid before Christmas.

Attached pic is of Carnival Magic.  Got this one from the balcony of the hotel we stayed in (Marriott) when in Hollywood Beach for a few days last October.  The largest ships we've been on so far are Carnival's Conquest class, so we were really looking forward to Magic.
