EDGE after final payment question

If we decide to pay more to bump up to a higher level cabin AFTER final payment, is there any type of penalty?  Also, will restaurant reservations remain the same, or would you have to redo them?  Would it be same reservation number or a new one?  I am not talking about the bidding up process, but requesting a specific cabin number costing more than originally booked.  Thanks for your help!

I think they will gladly let you pay the cost difference...not sure on the booking #'s etc...

You can certainly upgrade your cabin after final payment already made. The reservation number will remain the same. Any dining reservations should not need to be rebooked, but I would check the reservation to show the new cabin number.

The booking # will stay the same.  As for restaurant reservations that depends.  If you are asking about reservations for dinner a the specialty restaurants they won’t be changed.  If you are moving between cabins That have different dining rooms they do change.      Neither Luminae ( the dining room for Suite guests) Or Blu ( the dining room for guests inAqua class) take reservations, both are anytime dining. 
If you made reservations in the MDR and your new cabin is still one assigned to the MDR then your reservations should not be affected..

Suite perks are great if a suite is in your budget , love all there perks and restaurant and suite lounge are great.

Check the prices daily AFTER final payment.

Usually, they go down.

I've managed several times to upgrade for free from balcony to concierge AFTER final payment...😁

 

And, yes, booking # will remain the same, just double check on X site that the new cabin # is updated. Reservations made on cruise planner should remain the same.
