Shuttle from Seward AK

Happy future sailing.  Does RCI provide a shuttle from the end point "Seward" to Anchorage for the airport?

We have never ended in Seward before, always Seattle or Vancouver.

Yes they do. Takes about 2 hours depending on traffic.

If you have the time - spend the day in Seward, take the regular evening train to downtown Anchorage, then spend at least a few days on land in Alaska.

we took the train. It was awesome. It really is a site seeing tour. The train will even slow down or stop when there is something special to see, such as bears, moose, glaciers.

We've used the RCI booked train transfer. You have to book directly with RCI and if you're flying out day end of cruise your flight out of ANC can be no earlier than 2:00pm.

 

Other times when we've had earlier flight times we've booked with a private bus company

Alaska Cruise Transfers...very dependable and cheaper than using RCI's bus option.

It's a beautiful and easy drive.  Think about a car rental.

Second Alaska Cruise Transfers.   Used them twice, very nice busses.  If time allows, take the option that stops at the Alaska Wildlife Center.

If you have the time, take one of the sight seeing (day) boat cruises out of “Seward”.  We self booked it.  Then take the train to Anchorage to really “see” Alaska.  It’s well worth the extra $$.

And if you have the time, stay on the train to Denali or Fairbanks!!!
