RE-PAINTING ALL HULLS to look like Mardi Gras! Wow!

I reckon this is a big step towards improving "curb appeal" generally -

 

Sounds like Carnival intends to re-paint all their hulls a la Mardi Gras.

I think the entire fleet is a rust bucket of inactivity at the moment, so God knows paint is needed.

I guess I am missing something here. I have never once thought my cruise would be better if the ship was painted differently. While I think the new paint scheme is nicer than the current white, I don’t think it is anything to get excited about.

All white ships get kinda boring, to the eye.

From afar, though

this new colour scheme should be a bit more eye-catching!

I am agreeing with you, but at the same time it certainly is better than arguing about vaccines and speculating which embarkation port will be first and when it'll occur.

Maybe we'll get lucky

and someone will do some fancy Photoshop work

on current hulls/ships, to give us some idea

what this or that ship could look like!

 

Shouldn't be too difficult.

I don't think these two ever sailed together, somehow.......

Looks like Carnival MAGIC is in dry dock (Marseille, France)

and about to receive the new hull color scheme!

I know it is a trick of the eye, but when i see all that blue at the bottom of the ship, I think it's sinking.

The Magic is our next cruise,  in December, our first BIG ship.  Can't wait!

it is odd though, if you look at the two pics above-one shows the red line under the cove balconies, and one shows the red line below deck 2.  ????
