I cannot express my disappointment in RCL strongly enough that they have chosen to allow an unlimited amount of un-vaxxed passengers that include adults on their ships from Florida. If other family cruise lines are assuring their passengers a safer cruise vacation with 95/100% vaxxed FROM FLORIDA, there is not reason why Royal could not have assured their passengers the same safety protocols and the same cruise experience that does not require those pesky safety protocols. And......now come to find out Royal is not really enforcing masking protocols with the un-vaxxed, I'm appalled by this cruise line. 3

In addition, they would have to be transported to their domicile, not dumped at an international airport in Miami or FLL.

I have not seen it in writing, but I’m guessing that the cruise line may have some responsibility to get them to their door in order to contain the infection. It is likely a special driver.

A contract w/ NetJets entails buying blocks of flight time. Flying them to Miami or FLL used a portion of their block time. Unless you look at it like buying $100 of arcade play for the kids....when they play, "it didn't cost that much". Arcades and casinos love that line of thinking. I’m curious what the actual number is before I book. Edited June 25, 2021 by syesmar

What it means, if you are sailing out of Florida, Bring your mask, vaccinated and unvaccinated. I will not be sailing on Royal out of Florida. I will sail on Celebrity or NCL which offer a non mask experience for all passengers (vaxxed and non-vaxxed). I'm vaxxed so I will not mask on a cruise ship. Gotta go with the 95/100% vaxxed cruises. There is so much information out there and it gets confusing. Especially because the Adventure sailings are very different than the ones out of Florida. I am sailing on the Adventure on July 10. Just my husband and I. Fully vaccinated as we have to be. I am confident with going. I will say though I would not bring my kids. My kids will not cruise until vaccinated.

No big deal if someone catches one of those. Very true but those viruses are NOT nearly as deadly as the Covid virus. We are all aware of that at this point. Noro will ruin a couple of your days but chances are you won't die of norovirus. Same for the common cold. Flu does kill but does not have the R number like Covid.
