Same type as Starbucks but at Cafe Promenade.  Can’t be used at an actual Starbucks if one is on the ship.

I'll also add these are coffees that are made by the cup not in a pot left on the burner.  Some ships have a standalone "Starbucks" those are not included.  The coffees in Cafe Promenade or Cafe Latitudes can be Starbucks, Seattle's  Best or another name brand specialty coffee.  They make Americanos, Latte's hot and iced and exspresso.

AOS doesn’t have a Starbucks.

Yes, I meant Adventure. I guess you’re right, I must be getting old! So what’s the name of the coffee place on deck 5 just aft of the of the Cafe Promenade? It’s kind of out in the promenade? That’s the place I meant. I thought it was a Starbucks. My bad.

Agreed that it's any coffee that has an upcharge, including coffee with alcohol added. Haven't sailed on a ship with Starbucks but as mentioned that is an exclusion.

Starbucks is included if it is sold at an RCI “shop” like Cafe Promenade. For example, when we were on Adventure a few weeks ago, Starbucks was included in the drink package at Cafe Promenade. However, if the ship has a stand alone Starbucks shop (Navigator, for example), Starbucks is not included in the drink package.

Right, I should have written "Haven't sailed on a ship with a stand alone Starbucks...".

The Windjammer has a bar - they have specialty (aka liquor added) coffee drinks there - I know there is an Irish Coffee and an amazing coffee w/ whatever liquor, whipped cream, & white chocolate shavings.  That is always a daily stop for me after breakfast (w/ mimosa's).

I think they call those the "Captain's Call" but whatever they call it, it is delicious.

YES!!!!!    And I learned that always give them at least 10 minutes to make the drink - think they (attendant) needed some coffee themselves!

Thanks, that was where we got what I thought was Starbucks on Adventure, the kiosk was right aft of Cafe Promenade. So I guess I’m not altogether nuts!

They don’t have a stand alone Starbucks but use Starbucks beans and cups. At least they did in June. I miss Illy espresso 😞

I believe the after dinner coffees in the specialty restaurants are also included.

My experience is that they are NOT included.  But the waiter may still take care of you.

If it has alcohol it should be included in the drink package as long as it is $13 or lower.

In my instance, it was with alcohol.  I did have the drink package.

And was told I could not get it with the drink package.  Then they brought it, no charge. 😄
