But, thank you, you're right, it was the August one that I saw. When did that one appear? The Aug. cruise became available around 1 PM on Thursday.
Rare lazydayz Posted October 4, 2021 #103 Share Posted October 4, 2021 I was able to book the August sailing through a Hot Streak offer. While we usually like to book a balcony, we decided to save a few thousand dollars and go with the free interior. We grabbed one on four that actually has a window though it is obstructed. But the natural light will be at least wake me up in the mornings. It sounds like an awesome cruise, and a great break from our usual Eastern, Western and occasional Southern Caribbean sailings. virginiab Posted October 6, 2021 #104 Share Posted October 6, 2021 I just booked an hour ago. We got an outside. There were also balcony and inside cabins available when I looked.

And price comparing a basic inside cabin, Carnival is about 2475 all in with tax and grats. Princess is about 2700, but that is two days longer and is also their plus package that includes grats, wifi and drinks package.

Pricing is about the same for refundable and includes drinks, wifi and an airfare discount. We’re booked on the KEF-BOS route and is looking to be our preferred option to combine some time in Reykjavik pre-cruise. We knew we wanted to do Iceland by land and Greenland by cruise. The Carnival Legend option just sparked greater interest and eventually helped find what we were looking for. No longer holding the Caribbean Princess but holding the Carnival Legend as a backup. Just hoping the Reykjavik Edition opens in time. It’s great that Carnival opened an additional option though. Since I live in Southern NJ, Baltimore, NYC and Bayonne would all be drivable. We were going to go on a 14 day out of London in September of 2023 going to Dublin, Belfast, 3 stops in Norway and 3 in Iceland including an overnight in Reykjavik on the new NCL Prima. Decided to put it on the backburner and do the other half of the world before Europe. Alaska, Hawaii, NZ/Aus, Tahiti.
K_e_short Posted October 7, 2021 #112 Share Posted October 7, 2021 I take back my original comment. Now I have a Casino offer for the August 2023 cruise. $100 per person with $200 OBC. Inside cabin by who cares... it's Greenland!! This after Covid FOMO is going to be costly. even with the great deal 🙂
