Currently have a Sunset Veranda on Edge, for about $600 we can upgrade to a sky suite….is it worth it ?

Also do Sky Suite balconies have the ability to connect since we are traveling with another couple ?

I’m guessing it’s a 7 day cruise. Is the upgrade cost $600 per person or for both of you? If it’s a total of $600 (or $42 pp/day) for a very nice cabin plus you get to eat in Luminae, I would say yes. IMHO not so much if it’s per person.

As far as the balcony goes, there is a door between most balconies that can be opened.

We were on a B3B back in August in a S2 sky suite and really enjoyed our cabin as well as eating in the Luminae! If you have never been in an Edge sky suite yet, IMHO it’s definitely worth the experience for an additional $300 per person. 😎

How are you able to get such a cheap upgrade? Is that the minimum bid for Move Up? Normal pricing would be several times that amount !!! If Move Up beware that suites are VERY popular on Edge and certainly would go for more than the minimum.

Remember, you don’t get the additional $300 pp in OBC, streaming Wi-Fi or premium beverage package that usually comes with the suite AI package when you take the upgrade.

In addition to Luminea which is outstanding on it's own, the Retreat pool deck is fantastic and nothing like the big pool area which resembles  college spring break with the crowds and noise. The Retreat is a wonderful enclave away from the crowds. Want a show or to go to the martini bar? Get on an elevator. Otherwise probably 70-80% of our time is spent within the Retreat.

SO-in answer to your question-GO FOR IT!

This would not be an offered upgrade, we are before final payment and prices have dropped on this cruise.

So, is it $600 more than what you originally paid? Or is it $600 more than what your current cabin fare was reduced to?

If the latter, then it's a clear no-brainer. If the prior, there's more math involved and we don't have all the data--you can upgrade to SS for $600 OR save $XXX and reprice your current cabin. We don't know what $XXX is and that should be a factor in your decision.
