We were on a middle east cruise and a Iranian gun boat came barrelling toward with guns pointed at us but broke away about a mile or less from us.   It was a bit unnerving and the captain had staff on the decks with binoculars and radios keeping an eye on him  

Now THAT, without much doubt, would increase the pucker factor a mite! Would have been quite comforting to have a US/Allied plane do a fly-by then, eh? 😎

Summit buzzed by a jet. So I'm guessing then it wasn't a B-29 bomber. 😉

 

@topsailgirl  When you said I had no idea why a military jet would fly close to a cruise ship. I believe they wanted to see the women sunning around the pool?

It had and an Iranian Flag and we were close to Iran.    We were going through the narrow straight on the way to Dubai -  you are pretty close to Iran.
